I keep getting the feeling that the presidents assistant is a cylon. Especially when he refused to leave the Galactica knowing that he would have a tough time getting back without being locked up in the brig.

Dish is the way to go if you want to get the DVR built into the receiver.

Direct TV doesn't offer it. You had to go with a separate DVR or TiVo. At least they didn't offer a DVR/Receiver as of about 6 months ago.

Only thing different between the two satellite competitors id Direct TV offers NFL ticket so you can watch all the NFL games that you feel like watching and the Dish Network has the same thing except it's NBA...so you have to like basketball.

They both have the same programming choices as your cable (plus some) but the DVR being built into the receiver was the tipping point for me to go with Dish Network.

I thought the president's assistant staying was a little odd as well. I figured it had to do with maintaining a government presence and his relationship with the communication's officer.
