While I gotta love the Ratbirds getting listed first, perhaps the best line in the article is later:

"Anyone not in St. Louis has to despise owner Georgia Frontiere, who put the shrew in shrewd."

R: the Green Bay Packers

I also refuse to embrace the cheesehead-triangle hat until someone wears a lid that resembles a wine bottle.

Where does he think he is? France? In Wisconsin, it's Leinenkugels or Miller, maybe Bud, maybe Coors. Wine? Sheesh.

The "cheeseheads" started in about 1995, and some Packers fans wore them to the game in Cleveland. I think they were a little stuned when some of the Browns fans started pulling off chunks from them and "eating" them.

You do know why there is a hole in the top of Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, right?

Everybody has to fart.

Another shot at Namath as being overrated. I think ESPN ranked him as the most overrated player of all time.

Because Cowboys fans can't handle the weather.

"You do know why there is a hole in the top of Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, right? "

Or, because the folks in Dallas weren't smart enough to ask the folks in Houston how to build a dome?

Let's crystallize this arrangement: putting Owens in Philly is as strategically kaput as hiring Michael Jackson to play Branson, Mo.

Hehe. A perfect parallel

I agree with Baltimore being listed first, although I can't post what I think of Modell here without being banned.
