While I gotta love the Ratbirds getting listed first, perhaps the best line in the article is later:
"Anyone not in St. Louis has to despise owner Georgia Frontiere, who put the shrew in shrewd."

The "cheeseheads" started in about 1995, and some Packers fans wore them to the game in Cleveland. I think they were a little stuned when some of the Browns fans started pulling off chunks from them and "eating" them.
