I like Unforgiven for Eastwood.

DOn't forget the guilty pleasures of Soylent Green and The Omega Man.
Will Penny is a great western, worth the price just to see Donald Pleasance and Bruce Dern try to outcrazy one another.

I liked that too. But a movie with a black chick named Jemima Brown (Eiger Sanction) has got to take the cake!

Steve McQueen, Chales Bronson & Brad Dexter were all hotties in the Magnificent Seven. Even Yul Brenner was sexy in a way.

The Duke's best was 'She Wore a Yellow Ribbon'.
And for all you Bronsan fans, check out 'From Noon Until Three' -- total counter personna film that works well

The author has the right guys, but the wrong movies, except for Douglas' 'Spartacus'.
IMHO, of course. ;^)

Sheer weirdness! Don't forget Planet of the Apes. It was my favorite movie as a youngster!

With regard to The Duke, his BEST was THE SEARCHERS. Second place would be anything else directed by John Ford, from FORT APACHE to THE LONG VOYAGE HOME.....

Lee Marvin in The Big Red One and The Dirty Dozen
George C. Scott in Patton

I love Jimmy Stewart. Though I think of him as a bumbling hero rather than a tough guy!

The Duke's best was 'She Wore a Yellow Ribbon'.Absolutely!
And while 'Casablanca' may be the best movie that he starred in, Bogart was better in several movies, including 'The Big Sleep' and 'The Maltese Falcon'.
As for Eastwood ... 'Eiger Sanction'????? Get real.
