at times it seems like we have one...it just changes from male to female as the circumstances arise.
I remember during the ashley simpson / snl debacle, we actually had someone sign up to defend her 'singing'.
A little bit of country....
[Now you'll have that tune in your head all day]
I saw Donny Osmond in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" when I was a kid. He was excellent.
Alright, just settle down there cowboy.
LOL! It's understandable though. Who wouldn't get excited over such fantastic news knowing he's such a great performer. Rock on!
I remember seeing that from old SNL re-runs on Comedy Central. Funny, funny stuff.
"Marie" was played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Better known as Elaine from Seinfeld.
Not enough insulin to get through it.
I might have purchased it as well! If Mommy let me.
But I hated Bobby Sherman. He was a total phony. He was married and never disclosed that to all of his young adoring fans; the articles would always say "Could you be Bobby's true love?" and whatnot. He was a patient of my Dad's and never paid his bills. I was thrilled when my Dad took him to court (he never showed) had his Rolls Royce impounded or whatever they do to the car.
I attended the same elementary school with Jay Osmond. He and his brothers were singing on the Andy Williams show back then too.
Liggett Street Elementary School in the San Fernando Valley.
Damn, I'm old. ;-)
Jay was always my favorite, he seemed like the sensitive, intellectual one. I'd love to seem the Osmond brothers in Branson, Mo.
I'm telling ya'll it was a fabulous concert.
Are you confessing?
No. No confessions. My daughter came in and said a house was on fire on that block. I heard later on the news that it was Marie's
Hey, Tony Orlando always tears the house down at the Orleans!
Is she still in Orem?
It was the garage and her office over the garage. Husband and kids got out okay. She was in California speaking at a church meeting. Neighbors were there within seconds taking personal valuables out for them. Fire dept was there pronto, and saved the main part of the house.
Yep
Sugar Sugar The Archies
I was a major David Cassidy fan from that era. He was so much older, mysterious, and seemed to genuinely scorn all the fan attention for his own privacy (which was another attraction for me, to be honest, sort of the lure of the aloof). I think I still have some of those magazines around (somewhere!) that I used to drool over, LOL!
That's not nice (but funny)
