I have given up on time zones and watches, and just usually open conversations with, "What time is it by you?"
Thank heavens, my cell phone is always on local time - it sets itself by the towers, as soon as the plane lands.
Vaca...wait, I heard that word once...;)
Yeah, me too - about 4 years ago :) (I think)
i didn't find it difficult to adjust to MT time, for some reason the 2 hours was much easier than the 3 for CA. and i kept my watch on EST bc it wasn't worth changing it for a week and the condo and the SUV both had clocks with local time on it. changing planes in between was the only complication.
No laundry!

(Does that mean that both Elmo's got washed after his trip to the rodeo with your pink sandals?)
LOLOL - I always drive barefoot, myself.
xshub keeps in touch with his ofc no matter where we are by way of email and phone. he did a cellphone interview with Voice of America while we were walking around Vail Village and on the shuttle bus there. He submitted a newspaper article by email when we were in SC. he never stops working, but that doesn't stop us from vacationing as a family. i guess we are lucky that way.
I guess you are. ;)
As xsex found when she wore sandals to the rodeo (did she wash her toes after?) you can plainly see that wearing flip flops can expose the ring of truth about the rest of your outfit...

I used to drive barefoot all the time, but haven't in a long time.
But that one just leads to some dumb survey.
My liberal brother was using my truck while I was out of town - I can tell, because the emergency brake was on (don't do that in MI, or your car will remain parked until spring), the radio was tuned to NPR, and the &%#*^%#*%*# truck was out of GAS!
I could overlook everything but the empty gas tank..........
LOL, exactly. Just like a liberal, isn't it?
That's a likely story :)
i just talked to our neighbor who was in England for 2 weeks earlier this summer (i paid her little 8 yo to get our mail and water my plants on the deck and front steps), she said it cost $80 USdollars to fill a tank over there. the exchange rate is $2 to a pound.
we only have a half acre of ground and obvously it is not all flower bed, and i don't put down the stuff you talked about to prevent weeds from growing (don't think i could since i don't know where all my perennials will come up half the time) but i am awash in weeds and i don't know how you are keeping your humungous garden weeded, with you being a cripple and all, gabz.
I am used to paying $80 to fill the plow - it holds 40 gallons, after all.
But at $6.80, that would be...~shudder~...$272.00
Hey, I think I have to raise my price for plowing your driveway...LOL
