The Bill and Al show. It ran for 8 years before being cancelled.

The minutes the Smurfs were mentioned, the list lost all credibility. I don't care if I am a South Park fan.

Remember the "I'm an Amendment" parody of "I'm Just a Bill" on The Simpsons? They even got Jack Sheldon, who sang "I'm Just a Bill" to do it.

Kid: Hey, who left all this garbage on the steps of Congress?
Amendment: I'm not garbage.

(starts singing)

I'm an amendment-to-be, yes an amendment-to-be,
And I'm hoping that they'll ratify me.

There's a lot of flag-burners,
Who have got too much freedom,
I want to make it legal
For policemen to beat'em.

'Cause there's limits to our liberties,
At least I hope and pray that there are,
'Cause those liberal freaks go too far.

(spoken)
Kid: But why can't we just make a law against flag-burning?
Amendment: Because that law would be unconstitutional.
But if we changed the Constitution...
Kid: Then we could make all sorts of crazy laws!
Amendment: Now you're catching on!
Kid: What if people say you're not good enough to be in the
Constitution?

(sings)

Amendment: Then I'll crush all opposition to me,
And I'll make Ted Kennedy pay.
If he fights back, I'll say that he's gay.

(spoken)
Congressman: Good news, Amendment! They ratified ya!
You're in the US Constitution!
Amendment: Oh yeah!

I do remember that episode.

Kid: Then we could make all sorts of crazy laws!

Amendment: Now you're catching on!

Lol! The Simpsons can be roll-on-the-floor funny.

Alright, this is a topic near and dear to my heart. So I have to weigh in with my top ten.

1) Loony Tunes: If you think otherwise you are a moron. They have stood the test of time. Rewatching the DVD set shows that they do not seems dated at all. They are to cartoons what Elvis is to Rock 'n Roll. If I were to break up Looney Toons by the different characters, it would almost take up the entire top 10.

2) The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show: Brilliantly written. Full of stupid puns and jokes. I love it.

3) Southpark: Maybe the most brutal satire of all time. Every time Cartman or Butters opens their mouths I laugh heartily. Stone and Parker also understand kids better than we'd like to admit.

4) Scooby-Doo: The greatest sick day show ever. I remember many days I was home from school with the flu that this show, followed by The Price is Right, was exactly what I needed: entertainment that required no brain power what-so-ever.

5) Family Guy: Peter Griffon is way funnier than Homer IMO.

6) Yogi Bear: I haven't seen Yogi in a long time. I still remember his catch phrase's though. "Hey Booboo, I smella pick-a-nick baskette!"

7) Donald Duck: The only Disney cartoon that ever made me laugh.

8) Inspector Gadget: I am a man of my times. I watched this nearly everyday growing up.

9) George of the Jungle: Another Jay Ward classic.

10) Mr T. the cartoon: Funny when it's trying to be funny and when its not.

AAHHH! I actually bought a laser light cd of Nat King Cole that had that on it.

You just brought back so many memories.

you got it right. Although the list includes Looney Tunes, which starred Bugs. I also liked Fractured Fairy Tales, Peabody and Sherman, Tennessee Tuxedo, Speedy Gonzales, Roadrunner.

Ren and Stimpy? I always thought there would be no Spongebob if not for them

The adult appeal of these is amazing. I was at an industrial music concert where they played Ren & Stimpy on the overhead between acts. The crowd loved it.

"The Smurfs" were bizarre, but hardly uplifting. They had vocabularies of approximately four words - "a", "an", "the", and variations on "smurf."

Wasn't the voice on Ren and Stimpy, Billy West, who was an early staple on the Howard Stern show?

I'd have to put "Sealab 2021" on my personal top 10 list. That show is amazingly funny.

Not too long ago, my fiance and I ran across the luau episode of "Scooby Doo."

When Shaggy hollered, "That freaky tiki's gonna make poi out of this boy!", we almost hurt ourselves laughing.
