Hope it was something good!
So.....when do you start painting the beach house? *grin*
I splurged and ate out for lunch, so I'm doing the same.
I hope Miss Cat forgives you quickly.
What's noodling?
heh... no painting just yet. Gonna clean stuff. First big cleaning project is the roofs (de-mossing) and the gutters. Should be messy enough.
We had a good-bye luncheon for someone today....went to the Italian buffet and ate way too much!
Be careful and wear good shoes. :-D
You can always have your dad pressure wash ~you~ once you're done with the gutters. LOL!
It's that thing that 2J was doing... where they jump into the river and grab big catfish by the jaw... barehanded.
Not my bag, particularly... but some seem to like it. :-)
mmmmm....Italian.....
I had Shorty's BBQ. Not anywhere near as good as the food I got to eat in KC with you, Osage and LSA though!
My mouth waters with just the memory of THAT lunch!
I'm very bad when there's dessert on the buffet.
well, granted it is not in the same class, the alligator snapping turtle often hangs out in came habitat niche that the big ol' catfish do. It's a common enough occurance that a some dedicated noodlers are missing the odd digit.
Tiramisu?
How big of a catfish did 2J get?
I concur Ruthee, that was a mighty fine meal, worthy to commemorate the first FL/KS/MO mini-moot.
I don't think she's actually gone noodling yet, Sam.
It's on her things-to-do list, I believe.
Uhhh....whatever.
Is fishing better in the fall of the year or the winter down there?
I envy you all being able to have access to that restaurant all the time.
They need to open one down here. It would make a killing!
Well, it's also legal in MO, in specific locations, but it's practiced a lot of other places. Should we put in on the agenda for your next visit?
Lotta trouble for a lousy bottomfeeder.
Absolutely wonderful.
Here are the ingredients.
30 Italian ladyfingers, divided
2 1/2 C. strong warm espresso
2 ounces chopped chocolate, divided
Unsweetened cocoa, for dusting
6 egg yolks
3/4 C. sugar
1 1/4 lbs. mascarpone cheese
2 C. heavy cream
1/3 C. sugar
1 1/2 T. dark rum
Sound good yet? :-D
