I am afraid you are right. I don't think she had the least bit of remorse over the horrible crimes she commited. At the very least, she should be kept in prison for life.

one of her attorneys, Christian Lachance, told Quebec Superior Court Judge Maurice Lagace that because Homolka's safety could not be assured by police, he said the media must be prevented from reporting her whereabouts to protect her from threats LOL! In this day and age, they might as well try to prevent Niagra Falls from flowing downhill.
