I had a bad experience with Firestones (no, not the explosive Wranglers). The tires they made for my Saturn don't handle snow.

Normally yeah, if he doesn't wreck first -- trouble is, they've been working on that car's handling all night, and screwing it up with every other pit stop. - may have at least 2 other chances to get it right.

They said Jeffs car was loose....is that fixable?Yea, that's what those pit crew are doing when they go to the top of the car with the wrenches.
Essentially, they are adjusting weight-bias in the car to re-center it. Right now, the inside of Jeff's car isn't stickin', so he needs to run a wider line. They've been loose all night. I would expect they are chasin' it now. Next stops will be interesting.
