Wayta go Tom! Someone needs to put these self-righteous TV hosts in their place now and then.

I still like Cruise better than Lauer. Lauer thinks he is an intellectual but he is a narcissistic little girlie man.

Somewhere, Steven Spielberg quietly weeps.

This little discussion carried all the intellectual heft of Moe chastising Larry for accidently wallpapering over Curly.

Who will create the next great Hollywood religion?

Steven Spielberg, Mel Brooks or maybe that intellectual Michael Moore?

Anybody who hates Matt Lauer can't be all bad.

He [Cruise] also told Lauer, “You don’t know the history of psychiatry. I do.”

So Cruise announced to the entire world he plays mind games to seduce the vulnerable into the Cult of Scientology.

I wonder if the CoS has recently launched a recruitment drive...What's Travolta been up to lately?

Katie talks about a-holes and Lauer gets to talk to an a-hole. WOW, no wonder their ratings stinks. NBC/MSNBC's new motto,"we're not real reporters but we play one on TV".

While scientology is a complete and sinister scam, 90% of what Cruise says about the dangers of psychotropic drugs and the sedating of American children is correct.

The trillion-dollar drug industry is not going to tolerate his outbursts much longer.

And Brooke Shields did no one a favor when she detailed how she wanted to kill her newborn child and throw herself out a window. Women should not be told this is a real and possible outcome of childbirth which is exactly what she and Oprah would have women believe.

Shields needs a stronger faith in God and intensive psychotherapy, not drugs to mask her problem.

No doubt her perverted upbringing contains the seeds of her despair.

Tom believes in solving problems the old fasioned way - holding onto used orange juice cans and chanting to the space men.

Cruise says a lot of the right things. Perhaps for wrong reasons, nevertheless, he's right about drugs and about most therapy. And he's right about Lauer being glib and not doing homework, just communicating (parroting) information without having real knowledge about what he's saying.

So I score this one for Cruise. At least he's admirable for standing up for what he believes in and not allowing the media idiots to push him around. More people should push back when Lauer and Walters and Couric and their ilk get snippy with them.

"At one point Cruise told Lauer, “You’re glib” and said Lauer didn’t know what he was talking about."

CAn't argue with him there.

Other fan, "Yeah, they both love Tom Cruise."

(Apologies if you have heard it before!)

Hey, you wanna see a total Tom Cruise meltdown, let him be interviewed by Charles Krauthammer. Before becoming a political commentator, Charles was a psychiatrist. Just let 'ol raving lunatic Tom try this nonsense with him!

So tell us, Tom...when the hell are you going to STFU?

Sorry, folks, I'm sick of this guy. Him and that damn Geldof...

I heard on the news today that Tom has a new Press Person. His old Press Person didn't want him to talk about Scientology (I wonder why!!!) and he fired her/waited until her contract was up - whatever. And then, hired his cousin or sister or something to handle his stuff.

This has been brewing for quite a while and he has felt stifled because he wasn't allowed to discuss his passion.
