"Well, I would appreciate a screen shot posted here if she's got really buggy eyes during the interview." Jennifer's eyes since the book deal:

I did not watch. I simply read the entire transcript instead, and I wish all the best for these two people who are trying, evidently, to deal with a very strange trial in their lives. Having been a big time naysayer, I can only wish them well.
The SHOE MODEL is another story. Trying to make it past her two-bit sucker shots was nearly impossible. I began to skip over Perky's entire setup around Page 3. However, her glaring, grasping, desperate attempts to be a "serious journalist" were so misguided, that I was back reading her lame insights by Page 6. SHOE MODEL blew her very last chance to be credible with her incredibly rude and misdirected questioning of Mr. Mason. I only read the transcript, but I'd bet the farm that she was like a low key carnival barker, hawking away at the latest attraction.
I thought before I posted and here is what I think...Jen/Run/Bride is all too common. She just snapped at a really bad time and I thank God Almighty that she has good friends and family to help her. If she is well and happy, and Mr. Mason can recover and forgive, wouldn't this just be the most pluperfect "prodigal son" story? I was all for stringing this woman up by her thumbs, but who here on this forum has not faced their own personal Rubicon?
Re "Perky": NBC ought to get out while they can. The women of America have decided and we have voted that witch off the island. The autopsy found that she was just too damn phony for anybody at all to tolerate. Best example: The ladies in my golf league used to look at her clothes and shoes, now, they tune in to watch her try and sway women with her no intellect, great wardrobe, politics. The "I am an intellectual" glasses did her in for the HHI golf league.
Katie Couric is a joke in the Lowcountry, mainly because she didn't stick to her original winning formula. Early in the morning, women like the news to be tempered with a little classy femininity, a little "esprit de corps", a little sunshine. Clueless Katie somehow decided that she was an intellectual. Not very winning when your viewer is unclogging the disposal. Perky lost her focus. Too bad so sad, but it can't be undone. She is now some sort of ill-equipped pseudo intellectual. Except for the shoes. She is a world class SHOE MODEL. Paula Zahn took the lesson, so should "Perky" if she wants to keep her job.

I watched the interview, and was not impressed by the fake sobbing. Once or twice she was truly emotional, but most of the falseness of her 'poor me, I victimized myself' tone just didn't work for her on the sympathy factor.
There were some insights a few times into the real reason she is the way she is. One was her "pre-med" studies that she flunked out of because she perfered to party instead of study (or something similar). She must have said "I don't know" 500 times. She is probably thinking, 'don't they get it? I'm dumb'.
Jennifer would rather have us believe she is just very unintelligent, and has no control over her impulses. If this is true, she's probably another post-pardom depression victim in the making.
John Mason, are you listening? Remove all sharp objects from your house if you marry her. Put a GPS tracking device on her at all times. Keep her away from large amounts of cash, car keys, flammables, explosives, animals, children, and anything else she may have the sudden urge to destroy.
After all, once she does her next stunt, she won't know why she did that either. This story proves the Adam and Eve story probably true. Except the serpent could be wrapped around Jennifer's brain stem, not an apple tree, causing the bulging eyes, and that distressed whine she emotes her bologny with.

My impression of the interview is that it is "all about Jennifer". Her selfishness is nauseating.

I only caught the last part of the interview. But by the end of it, I couldn't understand why she even did the interview. I really don't believe that she just doesn't know why she ran away. And I think her story that she was considering over-dosing on pills is very questionable. Whatever her issues are, I think it's clear that she doesn't love the guy. But by giving the interview without giving a real explanation, kind of leaves a person to wonder. The reason must just be so stupid and embarrassing. Like, say, the closer she got to her wedding day the more aware she was that her born again virgin fiance would most likely not be interested in indulging her S & M fantasies. And she was hoping to hook up with some kinky pal she met over the internet. :oP Well, she left it open for us to guess...

If an interview with 'perky' is worth $500k, what would the Jennifer Wilbanks sex tape be worth?
