Come now, don't you ever get tired? I've never seen someone enjoy being a sychopnat more than you. I'm exhausted for you.

I don't buy into that prediction nonsense. The fact that Kerry and Daschle lost, is good enough for me.

Me too, but don't you acknowledge that the adminstration and the Republicans in Congress aren't acting like winners and the media and the Dems in Congress aren't acting like losers?

What the HELL are you talking about?? Thanks for posting this bullcrap where the men and women protecting your freedom and mince can see it. Pile on with the MSM why don't ya?? Good freakin' grief!! Say it a few more times and you'll have our fighting men and women thinking everyone believes this drivel! Why don't you add a few troop movement details in here for good measure? Sheesh!! What a moronic post.

What's this have to do with the "barely won" in Ohio nonsense you stepped into? Nothing? Thought so!

You know, I usually just wander past this kind of post...but I really need to say a few things because this just ticks me off.

1. A win is a win...doesn't matter what the score was.

2. Ground games never seem to be going anywhere until you score. But they are much, much less risky than passing games. Especially when the game involves the future of MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

3. You can't have it both ways—first you say we didn't win by much, and then you say we're not acting like we won. We'll I say we're acting like we won, but with the very real understanding that we didn't win by a landslide and we are going to have to choose our battles very carefully.

4. Tossing away political capital on something everyone ALL READY KNOWS HAPPENED and has "shocking-revelation-fatigue" about is just plain stupid. (We should have at least learned that from the Clintons.)

For crying out loud...you're the one who wants them to push back harder! But we withhold our money, pout over the fact that the administration doesn't agree with us all the time and tell the pollsters and the media that we're fed up.

The polls drop because we're dissatisfied with the lack of "perfection as we identify it." Then, when the administration is a little timid we just can't figure out why. You'd never send a QB into the game without the rest of the team. For Pete's sake, they're our guys—BACK THEM UP A LITTLE. Give them a chance to have enough support to override the Durbins, the ACLU, the MSM and then let's see what happens.

Quite frankly, I'm embarrassed by my party right now. Not by the leaders because they are pretty predictable, but I am disappointed by the rank and file. What ever happened to "when the going gets tough the tough suck it up and get going."

When did we become the whiny, temper tantrum, freak-out-because-we-can't-have-it-all-right-this-minute, chicken-little party? Keep this up and we will loose everything. We should be ashamed.

/exasperated rant

You call yourself Pollyannaish for good reason. Be pissed off at the leadership-- they deserve that, at least. Do vocally support the troops-- from what I hear, many feel forgotten about and unappreciated. So don't just sit around the farm fixing your pigtails. Be louder and more committed than the Left.

Nina Simone - I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free

And I wish I knew how
It would feel to be free
I wish that I could break
All the chains holding me
I wish I could say
All the things that I’d like to say
Say ’em loud say ’em clear
For the whole round world to hear
I wish I could share
All the love that’s in my heart
Remove every doubt
It keeps us apart
And I wish you could know
What it means to be me
Then you’d see and agree
Every man should be free

I wish I could live

Like I’m longin’ to live
I wish I could give
What I’m longin’ to give
And I wish I could do
All the things I’d like to do
You know they’ll still miss part of you
Yes sir...
And I’m way way over due

I wish I could be like a bird up in the sky
How sweet it would be
If I found out I could fly
So long to my song
And look down upon ihe sea
And I sing because I know
I would see you
I sing because I know
I would see you
And I sing because I know
I would see you
To be free yea

---------------------

Many folks would consider this song to be sappy. Perhaps, they're correct.
However, I think it sums up what we're fighting for.
No man or persons has the right to withhold freedom.
No man or persons has the right to destroy our way of life.
No man or persons has the right to clip the wings of liberty.
Every man should be free. Not a promise made by man, but by God.
To me, that's worth fighting for.
President Bush told us on September 20th, 2001 that this wouldn't be an easy war.
We'd have our share of good days and some days would be bad.
Toughen Up!! Our forefathers did not sacrifice so we would cower to these people.

You are so smuggish and insulting.

You should read some of your posts and realize how you sound to others.

Hey! I like my pigtails! Ok, I did when I had them. And I wear the whole "farm girl thing" as a badge of honor...even though I'm not one.

I did call myself pollyannaish for a reason. I have found, over the 40 years of my life...that my attitude towards things is becomes self-fulfilling prophecy. Remember the whole "Morning in America" thing? It worked. Most things in life are won or lost on attitude. Period.

I also believe that if I am going to take credit when we win...I have to take blame when we loose. It is the personal responsibility part of this party I like the most. Do I get upset and frustrated when something doesn't go our way...of course. But I'm not going to sit around in my own stew and make it worse. That's all.

My family and I go out of our way to appreciate the people that allow us to live the truly blessed lives we have here. You are definitely right—to win, we must be louder and more committed. AND less whiny. (Sorry, just not going to change my mind on that one.)

BTW...is this a ploy to get everyone fired up? I used to think so during the election when you "panicked." Just askin' because it works.

Yes, Reagan said it was Morning Again In America and he made it a fact, but lest I remind you that he gave no quarter to the communist, anti-military Left. To argue that they shouldn't be opposed and that if we sit back and let events play themselves out, everything will turn out just fine is crap advice. It is precisely what the Left says we should do against the terrorists.
