Don't go wobbly on us.

This is nothing new; always has been "wobbly."

I would like to see our administration fight back against the garbage being thrown at our efforts in Iraq. That having been said, please don't get too worked up by the current state of the news about Iraq. Our dear media is in the midst of a full-court press against our administration. Rush hit the nail on the head today when he stated that this whole cycle of negative news was kicked off by the false Newsweek story.

Since the start of the Iraq occupation, the news has jumped from one "crisis" to another to show how we are "failing". Look at the following list of "crises" and consider how each was covered, and how it turned out. These are just what I can remember:

-Looting of the Bagdad Museum

-Saddam and his sons at large

-Little or no power in cities

-Lack of potable water

-No oil production because infrastructure was destroyed

-Terrorists targeting oil pipelines

And or course, we can't forget the whole pessimism fest during the run up to elections in Iraq. The vote turnout was to be horribly low, and the whole thing was to be marred by violence...according to our pals, the journalists.

The ugly truth about occupations is that they are ugly. The Union Army's occupation of the former Confederacy was no picnic after the Civil War. The occupation of Germany was no picnic after WWII.

If all of this makes me a "denier" as you referred to Mike in Iraq, then so be it. I've already been to Iraq, and I am set to go there again in the near future. I deeply believe in our efforts in Iraq. Fixing Iraq is not a fool's errand, and the US will succeed despite the whining media.

This freeper really cares about the war, and that's good.

This freeper has been ready to surrender for MONTHS.

If Drudge is right that the Pentagon is planning to dump more abuse photos from Abu Ghraib, there is no use --we should just surrender.

Ummmm .. you do realize they were ORDERED by the Courts to release them .. don't ya?

Do yourself a favor and loosen up the tin foil .. it's wrapped to tight

The President wasn't taken to the wire in Ohio.

If you're going to be a pessimist, at least be accurate.

The RATS tried to make it close, but it was a substantial victory all the way in a state that Soros was pouring money into.

Get a grip.

And Soros is still putting money into it-- without Ohio, Hillary will beat any Republican. Like I said, it shouldn't have been left up to OH. It should have been a slaughter.

Great. I don't want her and I don't want McCain. I'd view it as the beginning of an inevitable and unrecoverable decline if either of them became POTUS.

So why comply? If a liberal, America-hating judge ordered the nuclear codes to be released, would Bush do it?

I have just read this entire thread and remembered a few things.

And the most important two are this:

This Freeper is a drama queen.

And it's always about HER.

I notice you didn't bother to refute what I said.

And seeing as how you're friends with Trixie, I can understand why you're so miserable here.

BS! If you call 168,000 vote margin "barely". That's how much Bush won in Ohio before the feckless Dummies went in there to make sure it was closer.

Dude, Hanoi Kerry, a notorious traitor, should have lost freaking 40 states. even Ann Coulter said that the election was almost bungled and that Kerry's vote is nothing to cheer about.
