Christmas Eve, 1991.

Great dinner with my boyfriend and my family at Grandma's house, watching old slides on the projector and laughing ourselves silly, Midnight Mass with my siblings and their spouses/dates, and then back to my parent's house where my boyfriend presents me with a stunning engagement ring and asks me to marry him on one knee.

Despite it being 2:00 a.m., Mom and Dad were very happy about the news, as they heartily approved of Tony. We made up a spare bed, Tony slept over, and we all celebrated Christmas breakfast together.

Besides our wedding and the birth of our children, this is one of the happiest days of my life.

Beautiful...................!!!

It was like "Postcards From The Edge"...... when Myrell Streep found out that Quaid was fooling with everyone in town.....

She shot out my tires.

Q. Back in the old days, when Great Grandpa put horseradish on his head, what was he trying to do?

A. George Gobel: Get it in his mouth.

All times are probably good times. At my age every day above ground is a good one. LOL Interesting you like P.J. O'Rourke. He's awesome and one of my favorites.

Hopefully I will vomit so much that my body will begin to break down. If lucky enough my hearing and eyesight will go before he arrives here.

But let me make this perfectly clear. If you think you are going to hang out and issue pet names to each other, you've got another thing comin sister.

My best date was my first date with Juggernaut, he took me to the best restaurant in downtown Chicago on NY eve, and we had our first kiss at midnight. We got engaged at the same restaurant exactly 1 year later, New Year's Eve.

No pet names. Mostly just physical stuff. I don't go for the pet crap.

The best date of my life was February 2, 2002. It was a blind date, set up by a mutual acquaintance. We were both nervous and at first the date was very awkward. But after dinner we went back to his apartment and started talking. Soon the ice had broken and we stayed up til 5 a.m. talking. Then we kissed :) and the rest was history. We married on July 10, 2004.

D.D., (as my favorite baseball announcer, Bob Prince used to say often) you are 'one cool customer'.
