Both are very good dogs - depending on what you are looking for in a pet.
Newfies are huge and they drool and shed and are HUGE!!!! Did I mention they are HUGE!!?

Bulldogs are lapsitters and mouth breathers and always remind me of Winston Churchill.

It's not a matter of preference. The original post specifically said anorexic. She wasn't. If yo like big women, more power to you. Personally, I prefer athletic builds.
