Moms and other ladies, I've got to tell you a funny on one of my neighbors who has four kids. I ran into her at the grocery store on my way home from work, and she said she had to take and pick up her ten year old daughter from school because she was banned from the school bus until Monday. She told me the kid was being pushed and pinched every morning on the bus ride to school by a boy about a year older, but the bus driver wouldn't do anything to stop him, even letting him sit next to her. Yesterday when the boy started pushing her before she even sat down then went to the back of the bus, my neighbor's daughter pulled a pudding snack cup out of her lunch bag and threw it at him-the top exploded off when it hit his shoulder, showering him, several kids nearby and the bus with chocolate pudding. My neighbor said that while she understands her daughter's frustration with the bully, she still can't have pudding cups in her lunch for the rest of the school year...
The word "vagility" sounds almost naughty when applied to the Clintons, doesn't it?
that little girl needs to make sure the boy's new nickname is Puddin' .......she sounds like she can handle herself, I hope her mom is taking her for ice cream every day after school on the way home......LOL
Good Grief - what is wrong with that bus driver????
Jax has a new bus driver, who I'm not real thrilled with. It's only bee 2 weeks and there is only 3 weeks left of school, so I will be paying attention.....If I don't find an attitude adjustment in him real soon, I'm going to be making mucho noise. The bus is arriving 15 minutes earlier than it ever did before which tells me he does not have the same standard of not allowing the younger kids off the bus unless an adult is visible.
I have never not been home when the bus pulled up - but a couple of days I've heard the horn honking because the driver did not see me outside or at least at the door.
The pudding pitcher wasn't punished in any way other than to put fruit in her lunch instead of pudding cups-probably a better choice any way-those neighbors only live about 1/4 mile away, so their kids ride their bikes and their horse down to this end of the road all the time in the evenings in summer. They seem to be very good parents, and the kids are very well mannered-I had to laugh when she told me about the 10 year old going nuclear, because the child is so sweet.
It was supposed to sound generally naughty, this being Friday.
Uh oh-I'd keep an eye on that driver, too-you can't be too careful with the little ones these days even in the boonies. My neighbor said she filed a complaint to the principal of the school this morning about that bus driver for letting that boy misbehave unchecked.
Oh, what lovely roses...
"generally naughty"
And may I be the first to say that you succeeded admirably.
What a sweet guy, what a lucky lady.
I sent them because I was happy.
I ought to send them more often. She makes me so happy.
after the week I have had I need to hear a married couple is happy.........(not me, but two girlfriends......
Good for you! I treasure the fact that my hubby brings me flowers sometimes when there is no special occassion.
All the painting, shelf adds for organizing, new furniture, and totally remodeling the deck with a roof, screens, porch swing, etc.. (I'm almost finished). Have had her grinning all the time so I tossed in flowers at work for good measure.
One of the neighbors who is hubby's friend told him that his wife told him she wanted a divorce-that he could have the house because she had met someone else and was going to live with him-this after nearly 30 years. Hubby told me he said he had no idea that anything was amiss...
Thank you!
Thanks for reminding me that hubby needs to start making the top for the new dining table and some more book shelves...
Every day is a special ocasion. We just forget to point it out sometimes.
