I don't ever buy delivery pizza but I honor the "Be Cool To The Pizza Dude" code.

I also try to remember that where I live, the Pizza Dude probably has a ccw.

All I ask is that the pizza guy behaves in a professional manner. I don't go to a lot of resturants or order a lot of pizzas but when I do I tip VERY well if they deserve it.

"Whoever you are"
by Geggy Tah.

All i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car
All i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car

who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are

all i wanna do is to exit
so i go to where i can get off
on a curve through a shoulder
theres not parking in that trough
so i drive around all day
combing atmospheric haze
till i wanna get on agian
then all i have to say is

all i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car
All i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car

who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are
i wanna thank you
who ever your are

all i wanna do is to tune in
radio L.A. Luah
cause were broadcasting live
and we wanna hear all of ya
on the mic is geggy tah but a whole lot more of all ya
let us hear ya let us hear ya
in a big echoing holla

all i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car

who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are

all i wanna do is to thank you
even though i dont know who you are
you let me change lanes
while i was driving in my car

who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are
i wanna thank you
who ever you are

If I have one operating philosophy about life it is this: "Be cool to the pizza delivery dude; it's good luck."

Isn't that what the rabbit's foot is for?

...and don't forget to tip him.

...and don't forget to read the article. It mentions tipping him well because that's part of what it means to "be cool" to him.

I always tip pizza dudes (and dudettes) better than I tip servers in a regular restaurant. Reason: they are delivering my pizza at some risk to their lives.

I hadn't thought of that. Good point.

I guess I can fit this in somewhere. My codes have always been:

1. I don't trust anyone whose head is too small for their body.

2. I don't do autographs (just in case I'm ever asked).

3. If someone says, "Go look in the sink" - don't.

4. I CAN judge a book by its cover.

I always give the pizza guy an especially good tip. Always more than $10 and often $20 or more. Ive found that I get top notch pizzas and service in return.

If you use any service that generates tips, and you tip well, and are a frequent patron....... the person you tip does remember, and provide better service. They also tell others that work with them, and they remember also.

You bet it is. When I was working as a bartender (paying my way for school), the best groups were other bartender/waitresses, out on the town. When our gang went out for a blast,if we knew we would be in one place for a while,( food and drinks), we tipped in advance....... great service/food, and always some free rounds.

I used to see some truly weird sh*t during my pizza-delivering nights in the environs of Washington, PA.
