California is absolutely beautiful, if you take away the people from LA and San Francisco.
AZ is rugged. You gotta be strong to live here. It's also beautiful, but in a different way. I've always loved Saguaro cactus, but I've learned to love a lot more of the native cacti.
I was used to roses, tulips, daffodils and stuff like that. Can't grow them here. Well, probably this year with the rain and cool weather you could. But no one knows what the weather is going to be.

Arghie, it comes and goes. Everything is still attached. LOL!
CT scans are pretty easy, I think. I had four last year, but I can't remember one of them. Too danged medicated.

Oh, if a horse knows you'll rub their gums, they will lift their lips so you can do it. Crazy animals.

Neaner, neaner.
"You" (Robt idly notes) had it spelled "profer" when you wrote your nasty note to dear, sweet, loving HegeW.

They normally close at 5 but some nights they have evening technicians, so I'm on for 6:45 tomorrow.

I am late, very late. Today not only have I had coffee, but breakfast and lunch as well!
Thaumaturgy: watch the so-called wizard
perform the slight of hand
that would transform a nation
of individuals who formed a government
of the people, by the people, for the people
become instead,
in the blue coven of Pelosi, Dean, Clinton, Kerry,
become wards of the state
in dire needs of a government nanny.
Thus the thaumaturge
slips your dignity
up his sleeve
until it suits his need,
to be brought out
on occasion,
like a silken scarf,
and disapeered,
to oohs and ahhs,
on your deathbed,
before you are born,
or whenever,
whichever way the crowd is leaning.
Pick a card,
any card,
and find
Lady Liberty in chains.

If I had created that list, I would probably have included that fact...especially since I spent 20+ yrs in the electricity bizness.
You refer to ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas).
However, I don't know how much longer the Texas grid will last, since there are some jealous lefty states out there who think they're entitled to tap in to the TX system so as to avoid building any nasty old power plants in their own pristine little states (Kalifornia, Taxachusetts, etc)
