That being said, if it can be solidly proven that Paula stepped over the bounds of a judge, then she should be fired. The key is "solidly proven." Not even a tape recording can be taken at face value given the state of technology today.
Legitimate or not, if the tape came from Corey Clark, that indicates only one thing to me, given how short a time he was on the show. He must have been planning some kind of "gotcha" almost from the beginning of his AI stint. That tells me he is a thoroughly scummy individual -- a genuine blackmailer type.
the amazing thing is that anyone believes these shows aren't completely rigged to begin with.
Nah, I'm in my 30's and I remember that show.
It's close enough to the end of the season that they'll probably just decide to "go a new direction" for season 5, maybe by replacing Paula with a female record exec. or by a rotation of "celebrity" judges.
so do you think it was that jerk, Constantine?
guess it was't,,.....all go here;

No. It was Corrie Clark (not sure of the spelling), the kid who was thrown off for having a police record. He beat up a relative. I don't know if I buy any of his story.
That might work. Some of the most insightful comments on the show have come from celebrity judges. I've missed them this year.

Did Paula Abdul give permission to record the telephone call?
The accurser's mug shot when he was booked for beating his sister.
If she did sleep with him, I'm not surprised. She was constantly gushing. It was repulsive given his lack of talent and high pitched voice.
More likely to hijack Paula's car than have an affair with her.
I agree with you.
Sent an email to the networks voicing my attitude towards such non important shows.

So ABC did a hit piece on American Idol and mostly against Fox for kicking their rating's butt. We live in the times when any garbage evidence can be used by another network as a source to hit on another networks show. It's clear the young singer would have given up his mother to get 15 more minutes of fame. Personally, what little I have heard of his singing, leaves a lot to be desired. I suspect that his career will go the way of this ABC hit piece, which is nowhere. I have never watched more than a few minutes of American Idol because I'm way to busy watching you guys on cable news. What I have real problems with is the well planned but not advisable low blow by a fellow network.
