I think it's their deranged mothers and/or fathers who are the profit centers. Actually, I have a hard time believing that any mother loopy enough to haul her 14 year old daughter in for this kind of surgery is holding down a job. So it must be the dads who are really paying. But maybe they don't what they're paying for. There was an article last year in my local paper about the huge numbers of 15-18 year old high school girls getting breast augmentation surgery from local plastic surgeons. Based on a lot of interviews, the writer learned that a significant number of the fathers didn't know anything about it until after the fact, when mom and daughter arrived home and said "Surprise!". With the type of surgery described in this article, dad would never have to know (at least we hope the daughters don't show off the results to dad!).
