Sorry lsee, but no luck there. I count myself as one of the fitter people I know...
***********************
I regret responding to your crass remarks in the first place, but if you missed my meaning, I suppose I should clarify:
Sir, your comments make you resemble a big ass....of the donkey variety. Merriam-webster further defines this colloquial term as: "a stupid, obstinate, or perverse person -- often compounded with a preceding adjective (don't be a dumb-ass)".
Your distaste and contempt for overweight women is clear. My retort should be clear as well. Although, coming from a heifer, it might seem to onlookers just one form of livestock trading insults with another.
To your credit, others have proven you are not the BIGGEST ass on this thread. I'm glad you're proud of your body, but even the most physically attractive person can't hide an ugly attitude...and a hostile, judgmental sneer disfigures even the most handsome face. Not a steak or a beer...just food for thought.
Not even one car chase? LOL! ;)
I was wondering if youhad that. GREAT production. My daughters (ages 5 & 10) love watching it too. Anything with girls dancing at a ball.
Besides Mr. Bennett, I also enjoy watching (and loathing) the sniveling Mr. Collins. Mrs. Bennett is also fun to hate.
And I keep hoping Mr. Darcy will defeat Mr. Wickham in a shaolin snake-style kung fu fight to the death, but it never happens. It's a good flick anyway.
Yes, but you don't weigh 200 lbs.
I had back surgery for herniated discs just about 1 year to todays date. I have permanent nerve damage in my leg and foot, and despite the surgery, am still often in pain. I walk with a limp, so can't enjoy the walks on the bike trail that I used to.
Five years ago, I dieted and exercised and lost 50 pounds, I looked and felt great, but was still considered overweight. (I am 5'9.) I did gain all the weight back after the surgery, and have a hard time dealing with the gimpy walk and the chronic pain, for which I don't take pain meds for, so as not to become addicted.
So, we all have our stories. I have struggled with the weight issue my whole life, though, so I can't really blame it all on the back problems.
Generalizations and assumptions about people, based on their weight, is very sad. Have you read the stories on this thread? Not all "fat" or "heavier" people are that way because they are lazy and sit around stuffing their faces with junk food. I, personally, am glad that I don't judge people by their appearance...I would not have met some of the most wonderful people in the world. I have also come across some very "beautiful" and "acceptable" people, and some of them can be so ugly inside, it makes them repulsive.
Thank you! I'll check it out.
