What's wrong? Didn't she die fast enough for you? Should we feel sorry for your pain and suffering over the past couple of weeks? I wonder how it compares to going without food and water for 14 days?
"Ah, but the real question is ~ Who will be the last FReeper to post "Terri Schiavo Has Died" in breaking news?"
What a dumb post.
(If what I just wrote makes you sad or angry,
VT100's tied to a VAX 8600. Now that's computing.
If it's not COBOL, it's crap!
It is the "Free" Republic, and all of us have the freedom of choice. I could understand the debate, I could evaulate the opposing arguments (sometimes, LoL when they were not simply rants and caustic comments - and I mean on both sides of the issue), but I cannot understand complaining about the number of posts. If I saw a post I was not interested in - I didn't read it. Simple solution, IMHO.
I think the Mods were fair and sensitive throughout this. Repetition was avoided, for the most part, and the variety of posts with differing opinions, references, resourced material, etc. was helpful. FR was a reflection of the country and the emotions and questions that were raised by people on behalf of "rights." I found this insight of both the pro and cons very interesting and educational, for the majority of offerings. And I am thankful we have this forum that allows us to experience, on a larger scale, history in the making - whether we like what is happening or not.
And just hours before her father said she was chatting up a storm. hmmm....
There will be posts for days yet. Just wait till the Autopsy comes out and shows that here brain was missing like the scan does. I'll bet they will say MS stole it.
dath by starvation is painless, even less uncomfortable when you are not aware of your own existance because your BRAIN is missing.
It also seems like every thread, no matter what the topic, someone finds a way to twist a Terri comment into it.
I'm sorry, but a lot of us are hurting right now and when it seems some are going out of their way to be insensitive it doesn't help one bit.
Yeah Terri's death was so painless they gave her morphine.
I'll tell them the same thing I told the crybabies--Is it REALLy that much of a burden on you to expect you to not click on threads you're not interested in? Poor babies--people are talking about things you don't wanna talk about! WHAAAAAA!!!!!
Yes, I'm sure it's quite "euphoric" and pleasant. That's probably why Hitler used it. When know what a humanitarian he tried to be. And somebody who thinks any existance is possible without a brain, is well...(I'll let you fill in the blank).
Hey, Nuzcruiser exists.
Quite the conundrum, isn't it?
Feels good to be alive and able to make fun of people who cared about a woman being murdered don't it.
No worries, she's dead now and this place can get back to bitching about Clinton and Hillary. joy
Lucky for you if we ever have famine...
My wife works in a death home, people stop eating and starve to death every day there. It is painless if you have no underlying conditions, like cancer. I've been an army medic for 23 years, and have seen starving people in many countries. They aren't in pain, they are weak, lathargic, but not in pain.
Try using your brain, and look it up for yourself instead of trying to use the stupidity of people to add further drama to the case.
As well, She has no brain, which most every doctor agrees except of course the one who is paid to say otherwize. Having no brain makes it quite difficult to think, feel, be aware of ones self, move, swallow etc. But heck, new medical evidence is now out that people don't really need brains to function, talk swallow, sing, tap dance, etc.

Neurologist who examined Schiavo explains the scan :
TRANSCRIPT
Updated: 4:04 p.m. ET March 29, 2005
The overwhelming majority in the medical community say Terri Schiavo has close to no brain activity and has no chance of regaining awareness. Dr. Ronald Cranford, who actually examined Terri Schiavo in 2002 and testified to her condition, joined "The Abrams Report" on Monday. Cranford is the assistant chief of neurology at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis as well as a faculty member at the University of Minnesota's Center for Bioethics.
Below is the transcript of their conversation.
DAN ABRAMS, HOST: You're one of the few people who has actually examined Terri Schiavo and you're hearing all of these people who are coming on from the sidelines saying, "She's has been misdiagnosed," et cetera. How confident are you in your diagnosis and why?
DR. RONALD CRANFORD, UNIV. OF MN NEUROLOGIST: I'm extremely confident. I think at the time of the trial in 2002 there had been eight neurologists who examined her. And of those eight neurologists total, seven of them said beyond any doubt whatsoever Terri is in a vegetative state. Her CT scan shows severe atrophy or shrinkage of the brain. Her EEG is flat and there's absolutely no doubt that she's been in a permanent vegetative state ever since 1990. There's no doubt whatsoever, Dan.
Read the rest if you like. I've never seen anyone chow down a meal and drink water after having their brains blown out either, come to think of it. Of course, that's usually the enemy, but i guess Americans are different and need no brain to function. In fact, Jay leno proves that every night on jaywalk.
If your point is that it's OK to starve brainless people...
hmmmm....
hungry yet?
