Speak for yourself. He doesn't owe an apology to any of us. Maybe to Schindler, but not to any of us.

I'm sorry, I disagree with most here! Jeb has cowarded out IMO! He is walking away! he is bowing to the Judicial System when he has as much power as they do! That is no leader IMO, that is a coward!Jeb says he doesn't have the powers people assume he does! Maybe Jeb isn't really a coward at all! Maybe he's right! Maybe one of you guys should go down there and lay your ass on the line for this girl!
Sheesh.

It was in one of their pleading papers; the Schindlers said that if she dies like this, according to the Vatican, she will face damnation. Ok .. I didn't read the pleading papers .. but that is not true ..
She only would face damnation if she took her own life
That is not happening here .. someone else is taking her life

He sure does owe all of us here an apology for subjecting us to his ill manners.

These people must be under enormous stress. I saw them make their statement right after being introduced by Mr. Terry. It seemed to me that these were two people who were being advised by Mr. Terry (and others) that Governor Bush has the legal authority to protect their daughter and, if that advice were correct, then their statement would be justified. Their desire to believe that advice is, under the circumstances, understandable.
However, if the truth is that Governor Bush does not have the legal authority to intervene, then he is no more responsible for not intervening than any of us are. ;-)

Really, well I've looked at the law that gives him the power so JEB is full of it!

Speaking of apologies, I think Jeb Bush is owed a great big one, by an awful lot of people - including Mr. Schindler. Jeb has been her advocate. He cares about her. This is the thanks he gets.
People suck.

I am telling you what was in the papers that they submitted to the court; Matthews read it word for word right off the pleading to about fifteen different people because he was so shocked by it.

Mr. Schindler is in a state of deep emotional exhaustion. He's not emotionally exhausted enough to refuse to rush to a camera whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Two nights ago, Chris Matthews played a clip of the Schindler's news conference, and the father said that when Terri dies, he hopes she ends up in Hell.
Whoa.......how did I miss that?
This circus has gotten out of hand...and as I pray for Terri and her family- I pray for my governor.
Is this how we treat our friends? When life is unjust and unfair- we turn on each other?

Really, well I've looked at the law that gives him the power so JEB is full of it!Well, post it! If you know more about Jeb's job than Jeb does, let's hear it! He said he won't break the law, but I have a suspicion that's exactly what you want him to do! Call it a hunch!

Bottom line is, the Schindlers are now getting advise and assistance and talking points from Snake Oil salesman who are feeding them false hope purely for political agendas... Randall Terry, for example... Other Bush-haters are there, too, giving ther two cents...

Hardball Transcript - March 22 MATTHEWS: These are Roman Catholics saying that their daughter will be punished in hell because of the way this case is coming down. I have never heard theology like that. I have no idea where it is coming from. But it smacks me as overkill. And I dont think it is going to help the parents case.

His handlers need to restrain him instead of creating a circus environment.
And you need to quit the holier than thou routine.

By the way, this is about a human life, Bob Schindlers daughter!! You would fight like hell for your kids and if that means begging someone and telling them to get off their ass to save your child I believe we'd all do it! I don't have a problem with the Schindlers begging and pleading for their daughter's life .. I would do the same
But it is not true that Jeb has done nothing .. his hands are tied and if he disobeys this court order then he will be held in contempt of court
That still won't help Terri
