Tempting the Sun
She bathed by the rivers stretched in the sun in silky purple love
in her solitude, embracing desire to the winds
Alone, she walked in grass tempting the sun...

You're welcome - I really never knew what that poem was about until yesterday. Isn't that sad? I'm telling you - I learn more homeschooling my kids than they do I think! LOL!

Currently leaving a swath of typos in my forum wake as I pass through.
*wincing*
It's horrific.

.I am happy that you enjoyed the song. My mother wrote a book of peoms and entitledd it "Desert Blossoms". She died in 1993 at their home in my arms trying to resuccitate her. She died 3 days after my Father died. I wrote that song in remembering how she always looked on the bright side....that you can alway find good in difficult times. I think tomorrow I'll post one or two of her poems. Thank you again for your nice thoughts.

April is Poetry Month
Something Childish, But Very Natural by Samuel Taylor Coleridge
If I had but two little wings And were a little feathery bird, To you I'd fly, my dear! But thoughts like these are idle things, And I stay here.
But in my sleep to you I fly: I'm always with you in my sleep! The world is all one's own. But then one wakes, and where am I? All, all alone.
Sleep stays not, though a monarch bids: So I love to wake ere break of day: For though my sleep be gone, Yet while 'tis dark, one shuts one's lids, And still dreams on.
