Becky, The 30 day (meal) plan is supposed to be in the book that is sent with supplements. Gives you 30 days of meals to follow as a guide. I belong to a health and fitness club on the internet, there was a plan called the Zone (Plan Demi Moore used to get rid of her body fat_ she had a cook do the preparing for her and didnt have to keep track of it herself), now referred to as 40 30 30(40% protein 30%carbs 30%fat) thats where the balance comes in to effect. W to W refer to these in the same category as the Schwarzbein I & II Plans. (healthy food combinations) I think these combinations of the foods support the wt loss. You must be doing it 100% correct, cause the results you are experiencing is what you are supposed to feel. Oh, Bryers makes and excellent low carb ice cream in our area. The Blue Bunny must be in the West, I just came home from a Houston,TX trip and they had Blue Bonnet or Blue Bunny Ice Cream there. It was very good and I believe made in TX. I try to stay away from the white stuff, and use Ezekiel, or Essene bread/flour. I get these from the health food store, but Giant Eagle now has some of these products. I try to get organic yogurt and love Irish Oatmeal. One sure quick way to stay on plan is journal everything per meal and detox your home of the unwanted foods.(throw them out)or give them away to needy. If they aren't in the house you wont have them to eat. When I get my supplements Monday, I will begin with a fresh start. Feel this will keep me on track. Had a beautiful day in OH with near 70 degrees, it was a beautiful day for a nice brisk walk. You mention getting off the soda, me too, its been about 4 years now that I have been away from drinking it. I don't miss it, Coffee wont effect me, ( drink it when eating something sweet) just drink it here at work once in a while, I know the caffeine is not good for us, easily replaced with water. Keep a water bottle at desk. Its good you have weaned yourself gradually away from it, withdrawal not as bad that way. Have a great day. Maureen

Seems like I remember that they said a buckskin was just a dilute bay, so she may have a recessive dilute gene, but she looked like a dark bay to me in the last picture you posted of her. Could you post it again?

Mornin', Becky,

I'm not sure about Winnie, yet. I was finally able to let her out yesterday and put her in a round pen. She went berserko so I Ace'd her so she wouldn't mess up all that expensive work we did. When she slowed to a trot I could tell that she's not 100%. The vet said that if this one didn't work, he'd inject her again. If that doesn't work, we'd try another drug, I think. After that, we'll look seriously at a neurectomy. Right now, I could keep her as is but give her bute to ride and she'd be fine. With bute you really can't tell there's anything wrong with her and that's before the injection.

I've been reading about your possible stifle problem. I'd probably have the vet take a look at that.

If my daughter will let me post the head shot, I will when I get home tonight. She looked liked a jackass!
Nothing against jackasses, of course.

Hubby HERE does the SAME. Are we SURE our kids/hubby aren't somehow related? My hubby will try to find something, SWEARS up and down that he put it in xxxxx, I know DARN WELL he DID NOT, then he 'blames' the kids cuz HE lost it. LOL.

When everyone looks for things around here, I've lately taken the attitude of 'you're old enough to find it on your OWN.' Usually, it's 'if you put it where it BELONGED you'd KNOW where to go to get it.'

It puts a burr under my saddle though, when I use something and put it back in its proper place, and when I go to use it again, it's GONE. WHY???? Because when kids/hubby need to use that thing, they know EXACTLY where to find it so they can USE it and then LOSE it. grrr.

Ahhh, the joys of mommyhood. Gotta love it though.(Most of the time!)

Here it is, back on post 529. You say she's turning yellow around the eyes and muzzle now?

No, she couldn't find any at the airport she said. BUMMER!

She was ALL wound up on the ride home. Too much coffee I'd say.

That's too bad. Did she enjoy the flight as much as the first one or was it bumpy coming in to Nashville?

The shame of that is I think they had those cameras at this little store next door, we just didn't think of it while we were pulling out. I thought sure they'd have them at the airport gift shops. I'd think lots of people want a camera or forgot theirs or something on trips!

Wellll. She said it was a smooth flight. But she didn't like the trip back because 'the plane was old and small'.

Heh, ONE flight to your place and she's an airplane expert! ROFL!!!

She said she talked to a lot of people in Nashville. NOW, she wants to move THERE!

She's gonna have to slice herself REAL thin....cuz she wants to move to a LOT of different states!

She already misses you/Bruce/horses/dogs!

Yes it is. At least her suffering is over now and she's gone home to the Lord. I hope her parents can find peace somehow.

What I'm being told in genetics is that a dorsal stripe means a dun, not a buckskin. However, if she's shedding out light on her muzzle, and she has black points, legs, mane and tail it sure sounds like it doesn't it?

In the picture she looks like a dark bay or a brown. UC Davis will do color testing on horses - I've thought about having one or two of mine tested. Then I think, just where am I going to get the dollars for this :)

Yes, it sure looks like it. I can't see the latest picture here at work. The one of her, on the Who's Who's page is when we first got here last fall.

She didn't get much of a hair coat, this winter. It is just hard for me to imagine her lightening up a whole lot.
My daughter sent for the HYPP test for her. Hope and pray she is negative.
