If I remember correctly Sarah Lee and Oakie have been on pasture where they are boarded with just supplemental grain. Unless they are going on to really lush grass they should be okay. If it's poor grass and weeds though, they will need supplemental hay.

Mine get to scoops of pellets a day and round barrels of hay kept out in the pasture for them.

You might buy feed and hay then and ask your BIL to give them some morning and night - wait until you get there and take a look at what he is talking about.

Maybe he said that it would be more than they could eat, and that his boss sells hay for you to have the option of deciding whether to bale the hay and sell it to his boss?

Don't know. Eddie and I haven't been there in several months. We walked it out and talked it over and said we would have to think about it. Anyone else and we would have went back but no need here. It was just cow grass then.

Oh, and what side of the nostril is the drainage duct on? The inner or outer? Sarah Lee tearing bad still. I massaged both sides and up her nose to the tear ducts which are swollen and mashed a lot out but 5 minutes later she is streaking again. I have a picture but I can't find the #$%@ power cord. I wish people would leave my stuff alone.

Jenny, Celia, and I are leaving my house by 7:30 this morning to be at Beth's by 7:45, to be at the starting point by 9. The ride is suppose to start by 9:30. The plan, so I've been told is ride for 2 1/2 hours, break for lunch, then 2 1/2 hours more.

Just got the lights back. THe storm slammed thru here around 5. I got up and put Cindy in and the cat ran out. The wind was howling and lightening popping and he wouldn't come to me and I wasn't going to chase him. As soon as the ran started he came running though. I was hoping the lights would go out so the new street light that shines behind my house would go dark so I could watch the show but it didn't happen until daybreak and just raining. Go figure. How did yall do?

Yep, those are my girls in the photo. Sorry for the delayed response. The foal is so sweet, and loves people. His mama is the same way. My lower back and the hips stay kinda sore, but I'm really enjoying learning to ride. I'll take some more pics when I go this week. Happy Memorial Day y'all!

Sunny here now, but threatening to storm. I just love this time of year. Highs in 70's and 50's at night. Just perfect. My annual flowers and vegtable plants are in.

Cindy and Rose..I sent you that link to the housing in this area. You could find a great place here, for about half of what they ask in other areas. That is why you guys, Becky and Duchess are getting so many new people moving in. They are all leaving OHIO!

I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day. I came into work today. With my co-worker off, there is so much to do. It gets so frustrating, because we are having a lot of trouble, with our system. It keeps crashing on me. Just like at home, my cable is giving me grief again. I keep losing connection. The repair man is not coming until Weds.

I did make it to the cemetery yesterday. I took some cuttings off my rhododendron, for my Mom and Dad's graves. My Dad is a WWII vet, and they had the flag on his grave.

Goodafternoon now. Hope everyone's having a great memorial day. I went to the local ranch rodeo with friends and am going into the city tomorrow, hope to have pictures to post. Our local ranch team got whipped bad!
