I have NO idea where Shelton is in relation to where you are, but I saw this place and thought of you!!

It looks familiar to me. Have you seen this before?

Those rocks are a continuous waterfall but I didn't have it turned on. My husband actually doesn't like the dogs in the pool because of the dog hair but dang, they love it so much! Hard to make them get out. Yes, it's concrete but we used to have an above ground pool with a liner and it was actually a more fun pool. It was much bigger. And when you're sick of it, you can take it down and haul it off. In ground pools aren't all they're cracked up to be.

Yeah - I think you've posted that one before, in which case, it's been on the market a long time.

Shelton is sortof near me, not exactly the direction we were planning on, but maybe. Shelton is a timber town, it's economy kindof hurting from the last 20 years of sawmill closures and logging restrictions.

We don't want to buy it built. We'd be paying all the markup for buildings that are in wrong places ;~D

It is refreshing on a hot day and you seem to stay cool for quite a while after a dip.

Here's a better pic of the pool. It's a great day for pictures, it's overcast so no shadows. This pic is giving the illusion of a much bigger pool. It's actually very small.

Right on the other side of the light colored drive, behind the pool fence, is where our property line started. If we hadn't of bought the land behind us we could have had houses right there behind the swimming pool.

That's what I thought.

But 112 acres is a whole lot of land!

"No one around here has pools ;~D"

It's mandatory in Texas. So are SUV's. The bigger the gas guzzler, the better.

Kids play area. Ignore the pool crap in the foreground.

That's a really pretty house!

Have you got pictures of your barn?

We don't have alot of convertibles. It's either too hot or too cold here to drive around with the top down. If we get 10 days a year of good "top down" weather, we're lucky.

Heck, that's what pool filters are for!

...In ground pools aren't all they're cracked up to be...

I know what you mean. They are a LOT of work for the amount of use you get out of them and they can sometimes be a liability if you ever sell your house. Some buyers don't want a pool. My FIL would've filled his in a long time ago if it wasn't for the grandkids and great grandkids. Even then, I don't know that the small amount of time they're using it justifies the cost in time and money. I'm just glad it's not me that has to take care of it.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It was a long time coming, when we got married 23 years ago, we were living in a tiny mobile home in a crowded trailer park. Nothing came easy, that's for sure.
