I can't believe it's after MN. I'm taking your advise and logging health stuff and care about my animals and just took a break.
Don't know if it's a colt or filly yet, mom asked us very firmly to leave her and baby alone for awhile. Both are doing fine so we'll get in after daylight and see.
Baby looks small but I think it's due to momma being 16h 1200lbs. Color on the rump, no face markings or legging markings. Time stamp on the camera is wrong - one hour early. Baby born about 2:00 am. :) Prayers answered :)

Hey, I went over to that crazy thread you were on and I couldn't figure out why that weirdo posted your profile. I don't know how it was germaine to the conversation.
One other thing, I don't know how much experience you have with texasflower and I know I shouldn't talk about her without pinging her, but she's a major nut. I've seen her on several threads and she's been reported for baiting people and even admitted she always gets the last word because it makes people mad. She complains about hatefulness on FR but in the next sentence calls someone a moron. Read through her stuff, on any topic she has experience that trumps everyone else's opinions. I've also noticed on the threads she's on at least one person and usually more tells her to get therapy. She really knows how to push peoples buttons so just be aware....

Well, I checked out of there awhile back. I firmly believe that the judges were wrong about Terri but I prefer the activist threads.

I just got a phone call from the lady who I thought might have been the one in the ravine that 2J was talking about.
You know I've said I've had this lady, Sally, calling me for a year saying she wanted to come ride with me. Well her call was to set up something definite for Mon. morning. I'm looking forward to it. This might/could be a good friendship. She is a widow lady, rides a lot, and only works part time. She's rode/trained her own horses her whole life, so she should be a good source of info:) Celia has rode with her some, and says she is very laid back, does trail riding at a very easy pace, too easy for Celia as a matter of fact. Celia likes to move out a lot. She says she gets sore/backaches if she just walks all the time. I don't have a problem with just walking, or adding a bit of trotting/loping in if I'm with people who can control it.

We've been thinking about just biting the bullet and buying the trailer today. I just want to see motion on that front. We figure, it'll take them awhile to order it, modify it, and have it ready, so we might as well, even though we don't have the truck. I just don't want dad to think I'm strongarming him into hurrying :~D
Maybe we could just bring the trailer home and borrow the truck a couple times until he finds a new one...
