~smooch~
Heh, the trailer's our present to each other this year.
I think he is ignoring me.
Oops...sorry. Too quick. That's a great present for both of you.
He's very cute! I'll have to save that one!
First we have to get my dad movin'.... but we showed him all the trailer brochures and our excitement this past weekend... all we can do!
Is today your birthday? Happy Birthday!!!
Am I here,? lol. I just got a "this thread locked".
Sounds like a good birthday present to me.
Huh. I wonder why that happened.
Yes, you are here.
What's wrong with your horse?
Winnie has a navicular problem. She started limping on front right so I had her x-rayed. Suffice it to say that if I had of had a prepurchase exam on her like I should have, I wouldn't be in this predicament. Whatever it was that the seller injected her with wore off.
What can they do for her?
They are going to do a neurectomy, which is cut the nerve and take a short length of it out, so she won't feel pain. It's a controversial procedure but it's the only way I can salvage the mare. Even if I put her out to pasture, she'd still be in pain and would need some kind of help. The only way she'll be pain free is a neurectomy or dead.
I am glad you are choosing neurectomy, the alternative doesnt bare thinking about....
I agree.
Maybe it will work. Can you use her as a brood mare if you can keep her comfortable? Do you have a picture of her? I was thinking it was the one with the endocrine problem (can't remember what you called it).
That is too funny, my sports minded son is also having trouble with his heels, it's called sever's disease or something. We keep him comfortable with motrin and the orthopedic surgeon said he'll grow out of it.
I wish cortisone would work on Winnie. (The injections didn't work)
