They rate an unlabeled flat beer as the best beer in the world?
To: Mike Fieschko
I used to be a pro beer drinker, but in drinking retirement I now just sip fine wines.
Interesting that most German beers (a country that takes great pride in it's beer brewing) scored very middle of the road in their rankings.
My favorite brew scored quite well - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Woo hoo, Pittsburgh's Penn Weizen was in the top ten of wheat beers.
Too bad I don't like wheat beers.

The best beer for me is the one that cute guy over there just bought me.

That better not be Tijeras_Slim sending you that beer. I'll have to take him out!
But Pissant is the World's Foremost Expert (WFE) on beer. Stout: Either Guiness or Samuel Smith's Oatmeal (all others are cheap imitations)
Lager: Pilsner Urquell and several from Germany (Hacker Pschorr comes to mind)
American Lager: Anchor Steam (from DD's neck of the woods)
Pale Ale: Sierra Nevada and Old Peculiar and Whitbread's
Bitter: Young's or Fuller's ESB
IPA: Snoqualmie, La Connor, Maritime (all from the great NW)
Cheers
