could you please tell me who those people are in that picture.

Julie, Linc, Pete and Captain somebody in front -- The Mod Squad. Late '60s/Early '70s show on ABC about hip, anti-establishment young delinquents who somehow become cops and show The Man how it should be done.

What's scary is I never watched it but I know their names (and even the actors' names!) without having to look them up! They were just part of the pop culture of the time.

Oh, okay. I've heard of that show before, but never saw it.

This explains why I didn't see it. I could tell by the guy's afro and glasses and by the woman that it was probably a show from that era.

Do you know what the Freeper's mean when they talk about "Moose" "Cheese" "Sister"???

I don't and when I ask other Freepers they get all sly and won't tell me like it's some great secret, I did a search, still cain't figure it out :-(

I don't remember the subject of the thread, some story about a moose I think, but a freeper (don't remember their name, either), commented that "a moose once bit my sister." Several people just thought it funny and it sort of just took on a life of its own and became part of the lexicon.

I don't know where the "cheese" comes in.

I don't know about that. The last I heard the Nigerian scam had robbed a lot of folks for millions of dollars. But if you try to interest the FEEBS in a sting or give them info on the emails, they blow you off.
