Fatness Dwarf got on the scales this mornin'. It weren't pretty. At least they wuz thuh scales at the gym.
Purty day here again. I may ~have~ to leave early since Boss Troll and Rasputin are gone today and tomorrow. 'Course it's a shame to waste good leave time when they're not here. I'm takin' off Tuesday and Wednesday for the funeral.
The good news is, Steve never had to go out in it. His little sensor in the sewer said he didn't get enough rain.
The bad news is, Steve didn't get to collect any data.
He's sure now that he's not going to get done with this paper in time to graduate this spring. Gonna be this summer some time. He had high hopes, but I kinda always suspected as much.

Saturday.
But I was still recovering from Karaoke and forgot about it until last night! :-)
Aha... so tell us about Karaoke! How much, how good, how bad!
BTW... I just stepped barefoot on a mouse carcass the cat brought to the porch for my birthday.
Smashed it, and it stuck to my foot.

Just want you to know I had a mouthful of coffee when I read that. Ick!
As for karaoke, the first time I went up I choked. Completely and utterly. Throat closed up and no more than a whisper came out. SOOOO embarassing.
Decided to drink a few beers before trying again and it worked magnificently. :-)
I sang Paradise By The Dashboard Light with my friend Dan. According to everyone there, I sounded great. Then again, it was almost 2 in the morning and everyone was well into their cups by then.
That's the best kind of audience. ;~D
This is the second mouse in two days from this old kitty.
I think he heard us talking about getting some kittens for mousing in the barn ;~D
Nobody is ugly (or a bad singer) at 2:00 a.m....
