Would I think Bush a hypocrite if he were critical of persons who did what he did, yeah, I would.
good grief, can i get the reader's digest version of that.
BTW, KID ROCK KICKS BUTT
I was an angry conservative as a teenager, but like to think I've mellowed out nicely. I think your teenage years/early 20's amplify whatever you are. Liberals now, we're more likely to have been Screaming libs then - that's the power of hormones!
What has he done that is hypocritical? You keep calling him a hypocrit, but what did he do?
Yeah, I know it's long but it's a good read (good ammo to use in certain debate situations).
Broadly speaking, the G.O.P has two major branches. The socially conservative (derisively called the "Bible thumpers" by those on the left) and the social libertarians who are also fiscal and national defense hawks like myself. (I believe the term is "South Park Republicans")
I admire Kid Rock for saying someone should cut Hussein's head off and he get major props from me for nailing Pamela Anderson. 1/2 of FR would flame me and the other 1/2 would agree.
I'm one that agrees.
Damn, I definitley agree!!! However, 1/2 of the other 1/2 would flame you..... but agree... :)
I don't care who is for whom or what they believe or don't believe. That is the American way. However, I think it can be stated without the filty mouth language. on EITHER side. That language is NOT necessary and is quite crude.
By the way what are the dixie chicks doing now? Boy, Natalie sure opened up a can of worms didn't she? She really blew the lid off all of it and didn't realize that while she had the right to say what she said the American public heard and had the right to NOT buy her records and had the right to NOT like what she said and lastly, had the right to SPEAK OUT about what they heard.
Strange the dem/lib/lefties are always for free speech UNLESS it is practiced by the pubbies/conservs on the right then they call it something else. Strange little group of people them. :)
Reading some of Hetfield's lyrics (i.e. Don't Tread On Me), I think we can remove the "rumored" byline from his name. And Diamond Dave is working as an EMT in NYC, God Bless him.
Kid Rock and Pam Anderson, they gotta have some interesting conversations around the dinner table. :-)
And I'm sure these are just rehashes of his old statements; Playboy woulnd't have printed them before because as Garaffalo said once, "it wasn't cool." But now as Iraq has turned the corner, the old media is being forced to follow along.
Rich Ward (Stuck Mojo/Fozzy)
Zakk Wylde
Slayer (I know, I know but interviewers have complained that they couldn't conduct interviews because the band had Rush Limbaugh turned up so loud)
Michael Graves (Misfits, runs Conservativepunk.com)
"Would I think Bush a hypocrite if he were critical of persons who did what he did, yeah, I would."
So Bush isn't critical of people who use drugs? Why does his justice department send them to prison if he is so uncritical?
Today, he speaks about idiot entertainers who speak ill of the President, etc.
Yesterday, he was that idiot entertainer he is now complaing about
I speak the language and I'm no democrat for Bush. I consider myself a conservative yet I could make a sailor blush.
Add Dave Mustaine to your list. He has had something of an awakening in the last few years. Regular church attendence, and voted Bush in the election. Not to mention being one of the best metal guitarists ever to walk the face of the earth. :)
He is right whether you like him or not, he is right.
Even Paul Gargano, editor of Metal Edge magazine admitted that he registered as a Republican and voted for the first time in his life.
He rages, "I'm not educated enough to speak about it (the war), and I don't think any of these other motherf**kers are, either.
"I'm pretty sure Janeane Garofalo's and that chick from the Dixie Chicks' educations don't stretch that far.
"Look up CONDI RICE or GEORGE BUSH's education, where they went to school. They've been doing this shit their whole f**king lives, while we've been out dicking around with guitars, entertaining people.
Gotta add Iced Earth to that list as well. Just look at the cover for "The Glorious Burden." It's and entire album about the American Revolution.
