Helpful hint: this type of posting is called a 'vanity' and should not be posted in Breaking News.

Winter Park is an excellent little suburb. Winter Park HS is a top public school, but very large. Town is small and upscale.

Orlando area is made up of two major counties and two lesser ones. School districts are by county. Orange and Seminole counties have decent schools, with Seminole County better. Lake and Osceola counties have lesser schools.
Seminole and Orange both have extensive advanced placement and AB programs for good students. Check with a realtor for best particular individual school zones. There are some to avoid, and some particularly good ones.

I went to Lake Mary High School, in Seminole County. In my opinion, Seminole County had the best schools, but Dr. Phillips area is good too & closer to Disney (Bay Hill area)

Lake Nona. It's fabulous, but expensive.
Winter Park is lovely with a good school system.
Maitland is nice, too.

Winter Park is excellent, as are University and Dr. Phillips. Avoid Jones and Edgewater.

Try the Woodland Realm district,
between the Two Towers.
The entrance is next to the
Orlando Blooms Greenhouse,
on Gondor Road.

Heard that in 2008, there will actually be a movie WITHOUT Orlando Bloom in it.
It's only a rumor, of course.

Used to live down there for many, many years.
IMHO, Seminole County, northern suburbs of Orlando. Very easy drive downtown to Orlando, (I-4). Very good schools in this county. I went to the schools there. Crime rate is lower than other areas. Do not recommend east side nor south side of Orlando. West side Orlando is so-so.
It would be hard to go wrong anywhere in Seminole County. Still you need to be careful.
Lake Brantley high school used to be one of the best high school around there.
Very beautiful down there.

Don't plan on a significant commute to your jobs. Rush hour traffic is always bad, and almost impassable during spring break.
The whole area is growing by leaps and bounds, so expect a lot of change regardless of where you locate.

I grew up in Maitland many, many yrs ago. It was nice. I went to St. Mary Magdalen school. Tough nuns that don't let the kids run the class. Things may be different now , though.
