Yes, the last mile toward home is the other time for spontaneous fancy footwork ;~D

If Bay does his piaffe and passage spontaneously, I cue and reward it, and hope that in doing that I can use the same language to get a more animated, very collected trot out of him later... but the attitude has to come from the horse ;~D

We don't know that yet. They usually let us know shortly before it takes place. But, I can keep ya posted.

Dogs that are mixed breeds seem to stay healthier to me. Have you noticed that? In horses too?

I wish... I thought he had the presence to be a pretty dressage ride. But he really hates arena work and collection work, he likes his trot B I G, he likes to go places. ;~D

There is such a concept of 'hybrid vigor' in mutts, the product of two completely different gene pools.

Thank you.... I think he's marvelous too, but I know I'm biased. I always enjoy watching him, and I am thankful when he can still pick it up and go like that at his age.

Any details, ages, breeds you want to specify? I could guess... but I might be wrong...

My guesses...
Mattaniah Rei - Paint or Appy.
Kelaiah looks like a Rocky Mtn Horse. but I may just be going by color. ;~D
Sherebiah and Mr. BoJangles look Arab in type... and one of them looks very pregnant!

DING DING DING...give this lady a cigar!!!! You are gooooood.

Rei is appy (5y.o.)......
Keely is R.M.H (5 y.o.).......
Sherebiah (aka, BabyGirl) is quarter pony (She'll be 3 in April). (Momma was a Shetland, Daddy was a 17 hh stud muffin)(we THINK her pudgy belly is that Shetland part showing. HECK, we had her on a diet this summer trying to slim her down. LOL).........
Mr. Bo is an Arab-cross (7y.o.)

Keep me posted. A rebuttal shouldn't be all that hard, given some of the loopy stuff folks put out there with regard to rodeos. Most of my favorites are not family-oriented in nature, though. You wouldn't believe the kind of stuff people apparently "know" about rodeo.

OK OK I am excited? nervous? scared wittless? If I thought Sugars' bag was big b4, it looks like she could supply us with milk for a year now! Her teats are completly down and very heavy and she has a "solid drip" on the end? She is so soft and wobbly in here rear too! Very very different from this morning! GULP : }
