I think the "sudden conversion" will be the kid. He's just a kid and now he sees how evil it all is and how his own father used him...at least I hope that's what will happen. That much is clear. Mom is the question.

I think "mom" will probably go along with the son...especially when she finds out that "Dad' is the one who ordered him killed.
I hope it continues. Nice dedication at the end of tonight's episode.
Thanks for pinging me to this thread.

It's Monday at 9pm. Has been all season. Yup, no more Tuesday. Remember MONDAY.
Also, the black girl is now in on the terrorist plot as well, so everyone is taking a hit on this one!
I loved the dedication, it was very poignant, especially with the "here comes the Marines" moment at the beginning. This was an A+ episode.
RE: HERITAGE 24 [KJL]
John, I'm holding out for a Corner reference in primetime (so many possibilities). NRODT made an appearance on West Wing a few years ago, so my goal is clear.

HERITAGE 24 [John J. Miller]
On last week's episode of 24, one of the protagonists -- the damsel in distress -- recognized a terrorist collaborator but couldn't remember where she'd seen him previously. On last night's episode, it dawned on her: She had seen him at a Heritage Foundation event. The mention was jarring. I'll withhold judgment on what it all means, except to say for a show that takes great liberties with the real world, it was a surprising real-world reference. Tune in next week.

considering that hawkish anti-terrorists have previously starred as '24' villains and that Keifer Sutherland, notorious commie like his dad, stated that one should judge the direction the shows taking too early, there's no doubt that conservatives will bear the brunt of this season as usual
Gesssh! The sec def's daughter said she was at the Heritage Foiundation party. That alone would tend to lend support to Heritage : ) It just shows that Heritage is au courrant == a place where someone wanting to have a cover among those who count might go and show himself around.
My DX is Paranoia.
I'm sure that Fox will respond to conservative critics the way they responded to muslim critics and tone down any future connection. < /sarcasm >
King of the Hill at most and even Hank though W had a weak handshake and got nervous about mooning "Not my Ma" Richards.
The Simpsons certainly continues the "Republicans are EVIL" and "them Christians is kooky when they ain't dangerous" mantras.
Paris Hilton? Who's Your Daddy? Paradise Island?
Fox News may be more to the right than CNN or MSNBC but then so is Pravda. Bill O'Reilly is proud that he is not a conservative Republican.
Of course we later learned his name and saw the note (which includes as the first or second line)"these terrorist act that I am committing" (or something like that) only it was scratched out by someone (Charles?). Why wouldn't he just take a new sheet of paper if he is going to cross out the only the first line?
In the note he praised Osama Bin Laden and threatened a nuclear attack on the 2002 Superbowl.
I never have seen anything to support the claim that Charles Bishra was a member of any young conservative organization (as a cover or otherwise). Just a hastily reported "fact" when so much BS was flying in the air.
Help?
