Don't worry Jack will put a bullet in his head before the day is over! (smile)!
What, are you now going to tell me there aren't Reds under my bed [smile]. I was just struck by the fact that 1) they named a prominant think tank by name, and 2) it was the most influential conservative think tank in town. The speculation that he was masquerading as a conservative suits me just fine
I thought the ep tonite was quite engrossing. Reminded me of La Femme Nikita on USA Network back in late 90's. (The same creative team created "24". Alberta Watson ("Erin") was one of the stars.)
Don't get all bent out of shape. At the end of it all, even if some group gets implicated, it'll be run by somebody who's in disguise.
Oh, and I forgot about the SecDef's DUmmie son--he's hiding something, too. If the show were to switch from Muslim bad guys to subversive lefie bad guys, then I wouldn't complain.Or a combination thereof...that's what I suspect. They are talking nuke plants. A combination of Islamonuts and Greenies makes sense.
So does normal-decent Muslims (even sudden conversions) fighting on our side.

Ah, yes, "Madeline"...miss that show, but 24 is now my favorite program.

They and Hoover have been the most influential GOP think tanks since Reagan, and Hoover is in California.

Yes, it was kinda neat that they named it. Also, we should remember that this president is a Republican as a result of last season. So, our leading lady said "Heritage Foundation" without a sneer. Kind of cool, actually.
Hm--I didn't know any of that. I only saw the movie Le Femme Nikita, not the series.
What about Erin's disturbed daughter? Wonder how they'll work that into the plot.
Jack Bauer needs a Nikita-like sidekick, IMO. (Kiefer is good. But Peta Wilson as Nikita is a tough act to follow, for those of us who watched LFN on USA Network.)

Kind of cool, actually.Well dad accused sonny boy of "sixth grade Michael Moore logic" and then sniffed out that he was holding back info. We're not dealing with a Bartlett Administration, here.

I'm hoping (crossing fingers) that's the path the show will take.
I think the "sudden conversion" will be the kid. He's just a kid and now he sees how evil it all is and how his own father used him...at least I hope that's what will happen.
LOL!!! And amen to that. But the current president might turn out to be a RINO, judging by some scenes from last season. I can't say for sure. He certainly didn't act like a RINO tonight, though :)
You know, I don't care if the villain is the military-industrial complex run by a gun-toting Steve Forbes and financed by Richard Mellon Scaife -- I love this show!
Check thru your library interloan system, the first season DVD may be available to you this way.
Thanks!
I'll be looking forward to next week's ep of "24".
