Plus the fact the NFC is a weak conference.. That is why Philadelphia was the top team this year. In the NFC.Exactly right. That Pats secondary will Pinkston and Lewis alive. Hit Pinkston once and you have taken him out of the game. The way the D stopped Bettis, I doubt Westbrook will do any better. NE 44 PHL 14..

My son-in-law has some business connections with the Super Bowl and he had to pay over $3,000 for one week and a day for that condo rental....AND THAT WAS CONSIDERED A REAL "DEAL& BARGAIN"!!
Of course, he set up the deal MONTHS and months ago.
I can only imagine WHAT it would cost now.... if it was even availabe!!

Having been in Jacksonville many times, I would say it is the MAIN STREET BRIDGE.

Luck, huh? Riiiight. The Pats totally dominated two of the most highly rated teams in the AFC and you chalk it up to luck. Get serious.

I predicted 5.5 points (you can look it up) and it's 6.5; the over/under is 46.5--I'm leaning to the under. What you think?

So it was all the Pats doing that the Steeler defender tripped and allowed the easy TD? You think they arranged for it to snow last week? The tipped ball that led to the interception was a fluke, the reciever tripping leading to the 87 yard td interception wasn't their doing either. I am not saying they didn't play well, they did capitalize on all the turnovers, I am saying they had alot of help along the way.

I like the comparison between Belichek and Lombardi. Lombardi only lost one post-season game in his career, that of course being to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1960 Championship game.
Same fate for Belichek this time. The Patriots have a great coach, a sound quarterback, and I like the way they play, but everyone loses sometime. This is their time to lose and Eagles time to win.
The Eagles have the best secondary in the NFL and so will be able to blitz Brady and put pressure on him (Jevon Kearse will develop a close personally relationship with young Tom). They have receivers (Pinkston, Lewis, and Westbrook) who will be able to finally test that injured secondary of the Patriots deep. Finally, look for Brian Westbrook to return a punt in the game, probably at a crucial moment for the kill shot.
I could be wrong of course...nahhh
Go Eagles!
ONE.

These guys are better than Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Stokely of the Colts? I don't see any weaknesses on the Pats. The Eagles have their work cut out for them.
To: Rummyfan
The Colts NEVER even tried to challenge them deep, they tried to run the ball! Why? Who knows, but Andy Reid won't make the same mistake. The Pats are a very good football team, but they are beatable if you attack their weaknesses. The Eagles will be the first team in the post-season to do so.

I picked the Patriots to win 20 to 17 in Super Bowl XXXVI against the Rams.
I'll say Patriots 34 Eagles 7.

Time now to bring Carnak the Magnificent back from the dead (this joke works better as an audio one, but what the heck):
CARNAK: "Tedy Bruschi." (hold envelope up to his head)
ED McMAHON: "Tedy Bruschi"
CARNAK: (opens envelope): "What two things are you sure to find at a Kennedy family picnic?
