Note to myself: make sure that my red suit is ready to wear to work on inauguration day to drive the blues crazy.

Good morning. Thinking of the 2001 inaugural, I get chilly all over again! Wow, did that weather stink. I hope things are less brutal this time around. I also hope the loony left and the terrorists (yes, I'm assuming they're not necessarily the same entity) don't cause too many problems.

Thanks for the celebratory new thread!

Please, someone, fill me in. I don't follow the Globes and other awards too closely. But I thought Farenheit 9/11 was predicted to win bookoodles of awards.

Did it win anything last night? Was it nominated?

He tied for 5th. He more than paid for their two-wk trip to Hawaii. Must be nice.

The fellas have already been inside to thaw out. Peanut Butter on bagels seems to help the thawing process.

2 degrees out there again this morning. Hoping to get into the teens tomorrow,, it will seem tropical after what we're experiencing now.

That would be WA state senator Paull Shinn who is proposing the water police.

Thanks for the great post. We are all looking forward to watching the inauguration this week. It seems like yesterday that Dubya was sworn in for the first time. It will be equally thrilling to watch the second swearing-in. God bless George W. Bush. He is a gift to our country.
