I can't help but wonder if someone (the two Aunt's that cleaned up after Grandma's death) talked her into changing her will? Also, why didn't the lawyer contact all family members about the reading of the will? Anyway, I wondering if you thought someone that took their religion so seriously could or would disinherit their godchild, for no good reason?

#1, a lawyer is obliged to invite all mentioned parties to a readong of a will. If you think you were supposed to inherit something and you did not, then you may have legal recourse. At the very least you should be able to view the will.

#2, Being a godparent is normally accepting responsibility for the spiritual development of the child, plus accepting the child to raise should something happen to the parents. There's not any obligation to have a godchild as an heir.

So what main character on 24 is going die?

It's gotta be Tony, right? All that "let's run off and start a new life together away from all this" with Michelle is like a flashing warning light.

I don't know, with Marwen at CTU, maybe it will be Michelle.

Today's an historic day. For the first time since before Prohibition, residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be able to vote and buy a bottle of wine on the same day.

I think it is generally best to drink that bottle of wine before voting. ;o)

Hey you old timers. Just wanted to let all of you know I met al_c and his family last night. They were in town visiting his wife's brother and I was invited over for a cookout. His brother in-law is living the dream with a beautiful home on the St. Johns river with a view to die for. Al and I knocked down a few cool ones and shot the breeze for a few hours. While I was there his 5 year old, Hanna, sat on his lap and said "Daddy when I grow up I want to drink beer"

A fun time was had by all.

Wonderful. I hope you said "Hi" to Al for us. Nice to hear from you. Drop in now and then.

I think you'll be very satisfied with your new setup.

The set up is great, and I found a lesson course on the operating system Tiger 10.4

You should see the graphics on this thing, its just amazing.

Staples had this mouse on sale for $12.94. The "regular" price is $49.98.

Makes ya smile from ear to ear when you find a good deal, hell I've probably spent more money at times on extra gas looking for the deal, but its the deal that makes it fun. :)

What's up, Mack? Becky went out for her bunko night and left you at home with nothing to do? ;o)

That particular candidate fell through. She rescheduled twice with me, telling me all the while that she really wanted to meet me. Then she just vanished -- no phone call or e-mail back. Crazy wimmin.

So I've got some other possibilities in the works. The one I'm most interested in is named Jenny. Divorced, two daughters, a few years younger than me. She's an obstetrics and neonatal nurse. We've talked a few times, and have a dinner date planned for next Tuesday evening.

Then she just vanished

There are men alive today that will envy that. :)

Go rent a Harley for a week or so and cruse town, you'll have to beat em off with a stick.

Maybe so, but probably not the kind I'd want to take home to meet the family. ;o)

Lots of fish in the sea. I'm optimistic about this one, but then I'm always optimistic. If it doesn't work out, there will be others. There are plenty of women to meet. The challenge is in finding the kind of woman I'm looking for.
