It's just called "The Scotsman":

Well a Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar on evening fair
And one could tell by how we walked that he drunk more than his share
He fumbled round until he could no longer keep his feet
Then he stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street

About that time two young and lovely girls just happend by
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See yon sleeping Scotsman so strong and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath the kilt

They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold, for them to see, beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Was nothing more than God had graced him with upon his birth

They marveled for a moment, then one said we must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend, before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon, tied into a bow
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show

Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
Around the bonnie star, the Scots kilt did lift and show

Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled towards a tree
Behind a bush, he lift his kilt and gawks at what he sees
And in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes.
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize

Ring ding diddle diddle I de oh ring di diddly I oh
O lad I don't know where you been but I see you won first prize

I actually sang that one from memory at a rugby club party.

My dad is sort of a naughty song specialist, and I just sort of learned them at his knee. I also know all the words to "The Ball of Kirriemuir", "The Monk of Great Renown", "We Go to College", and "The Bastard King of England."

They voted me an honorary member of the club . . .

Amazing the things we learn as kids isn't it :) I can swear in portuguese (learned from my grandmother who figured us kids wouldn't understand)

You girls are up early. Cold and rainy and miserable here. The Fort Worth Stock Show is going on right now, I'm going to try to go today. I hate to miss Keith's pet pictures, though. ;)

Why up this early?

I'm on my second cup:)

Raining and cold here today. I babysat JP, all day yesterday. Today I have to go to the feed store....sigh...I'll be up to 450 lbs a week now with Belle here....I hate unloading feed.

Well, I crashed early last night... I think I was asleep by 7:00 - so I can't sleep any more...

It's 43 degrees here... no rain predicted. For the record, I am going to be really disappointed if we never get any snow.

But aren't we close enough to 5000 to start a new thread. I'm looking forward to that link to our who's who. I like looking at the horse pictures.

I have a trash barrel that holds 3 bags. The rest lay on a pallet. I haven't had much trouble with mice. I really think it's the chickens that help out in that dept. I've seen them running around with them in their beaks...mouth???

Every once in a while the bottom bag on the stack might have a small hole. I use it up pretty quick tho. I go every week so's it's fresh.

Well I will now with the mare here. Between 400 and 450.

Remember: I use complete pellets, so that's their hay too.
