It is quite a way out there. She has to go through 3 kids and 2 in-laws before she even gets to the back door.
no foal, she heard me coming ( i fell over a cat) and got up. I checked and she looks different yet again, not quite such a line between her belly and the "tire" underneath. Hope this is a good sign. She also looked more bony at her tail. Only she knows what is happening and when! I still want the vet here though......
Don't you ever get a "night" off?:')
I should be able to understand it then! LOL
Eventually you will be able to feel where her feet are, it just takes time and riding. Sometime when you're comfortable with being bareback and your trainer is with you, put your toe up in SL's leg where it meets her body - not hard though. She should start limping. I used to do that years ago to get my cousin to turn around and start home. She'd ride through the night if she could and after several hours, I was ready to quit.
From the paying job, yes. I'm off on Friday and Saturday nights. The non-paying jobs, on the other hand, never stop!
I thought THIS was what you meant...
could get kinda interesting...you'd just need a whip and some spurs...
He does, he goes to work LOL! I sometimes wish i went out to work too! I just need to be ME once in a while. Hopefully if everything is ok, we get to go away this weekend for two nights up the mountains.
I am having the same problem you were having. Half the time I can't see the pictures but then they show up later.
Yes she is, but i like to go outside once in a while to check her better, however i dont want to disturb her, but i dont want to "not be there: if something goes wrong.
I have the binoculars almost permantly attached to me now!
LOL!! How much cursing in Gaelic didja do? My cats know a fair amount of redneck cuss words themselves.
As long as you can see her from the house, just let her be unless you see something wrong. This is good advice - my husband gives it to me everytime I have a mare ready to foal. I don't listen but it is good advice :)
100 years???? where did that come from? yards i meant.........
LOL!! Now that's a LONG way!! ;o)
I know its good advice but ...........: )
Well, I'm calling it a night. Hoping the best for you thru the night:) Get a good nights sleep. It really sounds to me everything is fine.
And besides, the vet is coming in the morning. You/we will probably all be embarassed for all the alarm.
But do let us know as soon as you can.
Becky
Im just glad we dont have cameras out the back! DJ would be showing the tape to everyone.
Oh and it felt like 100 years, cause i was trying so hard to be quiet!
knee is hurting : (
