Hope he gets to feeling better real soon. Our two y/o was sick last night too. I think it's all the drastic changes in weather. (hot one day/cold the next)
I just hate it when the little ones are sick. He doesnt seem to know what to do today and is so clingy. Trying to care for mama and look after him all night means no sleep........Roll on a better day!
Hope your little one is better soon....
Well his momma was up with him all night so I'll give her a break when I get home. I hate it when they can't tell you what's wrong though.
How's Sugar?
Still pregnant, We have had her checked and she is due any moment, but no sign of what i thought was waxing again. She probably rolled onto her side and was groaning because of the discomfort. I wish i knew more about horses! She is huge now, almost wider than she is tall. I guess i got excited and read symptoms wrong, I was told i wasnt the first to do this! Give me sheep anyday..i am used to them! LOL
Everyone starts somewhere. I look at it that when I do stuff like I'm not wrong, just learning:')
Thanks : )
She cant be long though, bagged up and stretched the way she is, her backside all floppy............its just time, and i guess if im not there watching her every move, she'll go ahead and have it!
At least its warm here!
Well everyone but me is asleep, James has left for work so i am going to lay down for an hour.
Enjoy your nap:')
Thanks - I believe she's right. I'm going to do a search and see if I can find out anything about her.
I think I'm done for the day. I've got all the dead fall burnt/burning. Alot of the loose rocks picked up. Mowing should be easier this year.
I'm hoping to seed a fertilize out there this spring. I also need to drag our arena drag around out there in the places I can. The problem with that is I'm always afraid I'll get the drag hung on a rock or stump and tear something up:). I'm good about that.

Good heavens!, did you all see this:

What a load that was:)
Becky
I saw that. I wonder if she was a diabetic?
I am so glad we don't have to deal with that. Property across the highway is filled with boulders. People there aren't able to do any kind of landscaping or turn out horses. It's a major effort to just clear a corral area.
What can you plant there that grows with very little topsoil?
Not much. Bermuda will grow, but then when the really hot weather hits, it dies off. If I could keep it watered, it grows good. I keep my front yard nice and green and growing, but it's not practical in the pasture to water.
I guess for me, I just like it to have something out there for looks. Even at it's best, there's not enough out there except for the horses to pick at. But even that helps for their mental health.

Haha, thanks for the pic! I hope that your little one feel better soon.
I just got back from town. LOL...I thought of you and felt guilty, but I had to turn the AC on.
