I just checked our forecast. It's suppose to get to 57 today, then high 60's till Tues, then more rain:(
But I'll at least have a few days to ride, and start on some of the stuff I saw in that program the other day.
Becky
I wanted to work on some of that stuff too but it's way too muddy to ride. My best level riding spot is standing water.
Shoot, I never thought about that. My arena may be too muddy...but it actually drains pretty good. I'll have to wait and see.
Becky
You sound like Sharn! : )
I forgot to mention, they were going in the hot tub. (Just got a smack on the back of the head for that, you'll be pleased to know).
This is rather warm for this time of year, but not really unusual. It has been up into the 80's this time of year. Everything is dead and brown though, it was down in the teens in late December.
We have a "hot tub" too. It's the big white plastic box in the bathroom. With 6 people in this house though , you have to make reservations to use it:')
PIctures???:')
You can't get all 6 in at once?
Good morning, after clouting James around the head I have finally kicked him off the computer.
No more weather reports and bathing suit remarks!
He's gone downstairs smilling like a cheshire cat.
Sharn
lol. Morning
(Just got a smack on the back of the head for that, you'll be pleased to know).
Too funny!
He needed it! Wicked mood this morning! LOL
I'll try to get some today but the horses are so dirty and muddy, it's embarrassing.
I know of Riding Unlimited but don't know any of the folks out there. I do know one of the riders who used to ride there, Lynn Seideman. She went to Athens on our ParaOlympics team and medaled this year. She now rides with Renee Albrect in Flower Mound.
Equest is in Wylie which is east of Plano. I have a good friend who works there.
The barn I work at is called Legacy Equestrian Center. It is located just east of Celina, almost to Westin. We have a website, www.legacyequestriancenter.com.
When Fred rides by himself, he trots most of the way. But, when we all go out together, we usually just mosey along and talk. If you want to know about trails around here, Fred is the one to talk to. He knows all of them well. I have also heard that the LBJ Grasslands out near Decater is a great place to ride.
You should see Sugar this morning, I thought she was a white horse! ????
She is covered in dust and hay, and lookiing very pleased with herself. (lots of grins!)
Hope your colicy guy is okay. I lost one to colic a couple of years ago. The horses I have now seem to have iron stomachs and never miss an oat.
My mare is one sided. I'll go and get her and she won't be too bad and then I groan when I turn her and see the other side.
Talk to yall afterwhile. We are going out for breakfast . I have a piano lesson at 10 and then we are going to go check out a piece of property someone told us about. Later
Duchess is the one with the colicky horse. It sounded pretty serious and they are socked in with snow and ice. She gave him some Banamine and he seemed ok when she went to bed. I'm looking forward to hearing how he is this morning.
Our pony george is white, or should I say was white.
