Your post intimated that we were cowards for not addressing the multiple screenname rule, you said nothing about the 'F word'. You are free to allege what you want but I can't respond to allegations which are not set out.

This thread is deeply entertaining though isn't it? Nice to know that I'm a leftist atheist nancy-boy undergraduate (oh well, two out of four's not too bad).
Still though, you have to feel the horror of all these poor people finding out that some who call themselves conservatives have differing views to them. American conservatives are not the same as British conservatives- why should they be?
I'm here because I find this difference interesting. American posters might find it equally useful if they try learning something from British posters and their attempts to set the record straight on various issues. Amazingly enough, we tend to know more about the issues in hand then they might.
I imagine most Americans wouldn't like it if their country was dismissed as a bunch of obese, inbred redneck religious nutcases; equally, Brtions posting here find the constant 'yellow toothed public school homosexual' refrain relatively tiresome, especially when some posters appear to think that they know more about our own country then we do.
Conservatism is a heterodox thing, both within and outside the US- it's one of the things that makes it interesting. This difference can either be a source of mutual gain, or an excuse for petty mud-slinging; I know which I find more rewarding.
