Speaking of deep-fried stuff, it so happens I'm going to have some fried pickles tonight!
In my opinion, there aren't too many food-things you can mess up by deep-frying.
OK, maybe cotton candy.

Deep fried Snickers bars, as well as Twinkies, are sold at the California State Fair. I haven't tried the Snickers, but the Twinkies are pretty good.
