Wanted to hear some reviews from Freepers. I enjoyed it. Leonardo was very good and I defintely learned alot about aviation at the time.

I totally agree. It's sad how such a brilliant man like Howard Hughes went downhill.

Even sadder is that today he could be treated with simple medication. It's a shame.

I saw it over the weekend with my wife and mother-in-law. Have to agree - DiCaprio gave a surprisingly good performance. Very good movie, I'd recommend it.

I just saw it. Now I understand why it was passed over for the best picture Academy Award. It is about a Texan *gasp* who was wealthy (oh no!) who was also innovative, intelligent and believed in hard work (as opposed to his girlfriend Kate Hepburn's socialist family) and established corporations (doh!) related to military and defense (how intolerable!) Though Howard Hughes suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder, that affliction just couldn't compete with the assisted suicide in Clint's film.
