The good people of Plano, TX (a well-heeled suburb of Dallas) have finally had enough with their school board and its whacked PCness. There is filed a class action lawsuit aimed a reining in such practices as:
Suspending a child for inviting a friend to go to church.
Telling students that they could not wear red or green to the Christmas holiday party.
Telling the parents they could not put any icing on the Christmas holiday cookies.
Telling the parents that they could not bring pretty colored paper plates or napkins to the Christmas holiday party - only plain white ones would be allowed.
Telling parents that they could not criticize the administrators on the prison school grounds.

I was just reading this *$&*& in our paper - how the SF Stupidvisors want to ban all handguns because the murder rate ("and other social ills") jumped from 70 in 2003 to 86 so far in 2004. Which part do they not understand - once a city bans guns, the crime rate goes up!?!?!?
