From my three: Silk, Maggie and PIB, and myself, here is wishing Punkin a quick recovery.
Silk, who is my senior citizen, had difficulties (not as severe) last time her teeth were cleaned. I have the complete blood workup done now because that can help predict problems. Here it costs about $45. It saved PIB's life once because he had an infection that was not obvious expect through the blood work.
I confess, I've not taken Silk back for another cleaning. We are trying to control dental problems with the right food and an occasional brushing.
Keep us posted.
Hope all goes well, any cat is better than Arafat.
Prayers on the way for Punkin and you, honey, and the Ferocious Feline Bebop Trio wants me to nudge you with my head on their behalf.
I'll say a prayer for your kitty. I don't know what I'd do without my cat, Montegut. They do seem to have 9 lives though, so here's hoping yours has a few to spare. Keep us posted!
Do you mind telling me which vet this was? (FReepmail is okay if you don't feel like being public with it.) I'm a devotee of my particular one - if you'd like the name and number, let me know. He's at Greenbriar and Richmond, near the Montrose. He's been my babies' vet since I got 'em.
Kitty prayer ping!
Me and my eight furry instruments of laziness are hoping Punkin pulls through.
You bet! Prayers said. Please keep us updated.
I hope our cat pulls through. And if it's a choice between your cat and Arafat, I'm 100% for your cat.
I AM so inclined and I will do so. A bunch of my friends prayed for my Finbar when they though he might have feline HIV last spring and he's FINE now and came up negative on the test they ran through Cornell University.
It works. Prayers for Punkin on the way.
Prayers on the way.
I will pray for your cat as well. I hope everything is still well.
