Eek!
If only they could decide which direction to go ;~D
If they were siamese horses joined at the butt, they'd be Push-Me Pull-You's
I don't like 'em, but for awhile I had no alternative.
I am soooooo glad I have a washer and dryer of my own now. It was a big cost, but way, way worth it to me.
Laundromats are a good place to meet single guys.
And now I've got a receptacle to plug the washer into.
Last week I was looking at the washer hookups and realized they'd have to have run it on an extension cord for all these years. Sheesh!
The ones who don't do laundry for a month and then take up every machine in the place?
*sigh* Maybe.
But that's one sacrifice I'm NOT willing to make in that regard! I like my home washin' machine...
Besides, for every single guy, there were five or six women of questionable age (and/or gender) with several snotty nosed kids in tow - folks that were from low rent kinda places without laundry facilities.
Even with plenty of hot water and soap...I didn't like to think about sharing laundry equipment with some of 'em...
Guess I'm a nasty snob in some ways.
The ones that really need a wife do that, yes ;~D
Heh...or dump all your unmentionables out onto the table the INSTANT the dryer stops, so's they can use it for one of their three bazillion loads?
Or the ones wearing a bathrobe because every other article of clothing is in the laundry... not that I've ever done that, of course. ;~)
Oh come on.... the guys that come in in a bathrobe can be kinda cute.
Heh...or there are the ones that come in an outfit that is OBVIOUSLY the absolute bottom o' the clothes barrel...
The best ones are usually located next to the pawn shops...
I also had my very, very favorite shirt in the whole wide world stolen from a laundry room - on base, at that.
I'm still emotionally scarred from that experience. *snif*
I only left it for a few minutes, too! And they also took a brand new uniform shirt that I had JUST had my name tapes put on...that was thirty bucks plus down the drain. Bustards.
~sigh~
I give up on you!
Eeek!
One summer on tour I was at the laundry mat. Decided, what the heck, the shirt was dirty too. So I tossed it on in and was there in my shorts and flip flops.
And in case yer all grossed out, that was multiple poundages ago (like almost a whole person ago...)
Have you ever seen books in a pawnshop? Ever wonder why?
